    You mean those chinese phones with 6000mAh that scored only 20-40 min more than S25 Ultra despite 20% more battery?
    Only iqoo13 is very far away. Rest are underwhelming for 5900-6100 mAh.



      If the S25 Edge was based on the vanilla 6.1in version I might have gotten the Edge. I don't really care about cameras or losing a few hundred mAh battery. If it instead were small and light like 150gr, that would be a new record in performance density = ME LIKEE.

              If ultra has issues with 8 elite and users have reported overheating ( even screenshot that shows 100° celsius) , imagine this one.

                Many mobile experts in the comments, i see none of them getting hired by Samsung 🤣🤣 or even some Chinese no name brand. Samsung and apple sales prove that your opinions don't matter.

                I know many people iny surroundings who would rather use iphone 11 than a oneplus 13 or vivo x200 pro just because that's an iPhone, sounds and looks cool.

                                        Just my opinion, 10 Feb 2025I know the smartphone industry has become a bit boring, but... moreOn a personal level, I concur with you, as having an all-day battery life is an important consideration for me when deciding on a smartphone.

                                        But I would still welcome the existence for this device for several reasons:

                                        Firstly, a design constraint like a certain max thickness would force the R&D team to come up with design elements that enable more efficient use of space. In due time, these elements will also get applied to mainstream devices, which would enable packing of additional components and/or larger battery packs in the mainstream form factor.

                                        Secondly, having a limit on the battery capacity also forces the software team to put in effort to increase the battery efficiency so that reasonable battery life can be eked out from a small battery pack. Again, these software efficiencies would percolate to mainstream devices with larger battery packs, providing an even better battery life.
