This is way too close to the 7s Gen 3. In real world usage it will be near identical. Why bother paying for a midrange phone with a 7s Gen 3? Frankly the 7s Gen 3 should not exist and the standard 7 Gen 3 should be the base 7 series chipset. We'll see who uses this new chipset. Might be half a year or more before we see it.

Z1 has 800 ( lack of 4K by sony's choice).
695 should have been named 495 instead.
Clealy not replacement of 690, but 4xx series.

2 x A720 + 6 A520 would surely be at least as strong as 865.
More than enough for people that make calls/video calls, messages/emails, social media, camera,
Those dual A78 + hexa A55 are great. No lag, no heat and massive battery endurance.
6 series as underclocked 7 non-plus series is just gonna increase price of midranges. More cuts will be done to avoid higher prices.

In flagship the modem speed (mobile data & internet) is way better

This in a device with a decent 120Hz 6.2-6.5" OLED screen, 8/256 (UFS 3.1), 33W+ charging, headphone jack, memory card slot, 1/1.67 50MP OIS main and 12MP UW, stereo speakers, 5500mah+ battery and price 200-250 is good. 3-4 years support.
Adding a USB 3 port would just make it literal gold.

Fixargeddon13, 12 Feb 2025bring back overclock kernels !!!!Just buy Xiaomi phone, root it and overclock your processor but don't exaggerate as it may overheat. Remember there is no watercooling system in your phone and no fans, it's cooled passively.

Great makes all the future buyers of 7s Gen 3 phones (Nothing 3a series) question the price/benefit of that chip. This new chip is near identical and probably in real life use the same as the 7s Gen 3.
