Single camera for that price?? what is this 2018? Just grab a used older Pro model for less.

    I am not interested in the iPhone 16e.

    First of all, only 1 camera in this time and age is pathetic, no matter how good that single camera is. A 2 in 1 camera like Apple wants to make you believe never is as good as 2 separate dedicated units.

    Secondly, that price is ridiculous, but expected from a company as Apple. If they wanted to make a pure SE successor they should have get the iPhone 14 with new internals and price it below 500 euro.

    Third and last, if you really want an iPhone, the regular 16 is a better option because better cameras, yes cameras, and the price difference is not very big.

      I've bought iPhone XR back in the day and it was amazing phone for entry into iPhone "world". I think this one is not a bad option either. iPhone 16e seems pretty cool actually as a whole package. They really need to add at least 90Hz to entry models ffs, but I know why they didn't do it now on 16e because the regular models don't have it either and it would be weird if budget phone had what higher models don't.

              It is too expensive. I bought these days a brand new iPhone 13 with only 418 euros (with a voucher deal from 522 euros) and works fine. Battery lasts 2 days, so i don't feel like I need a better phone for now, and the difference price between 16e and 16 is not too big, for this price i would prefer normal 16 with paying extra money. I wanted to wait for 16e but that deal with 13 was to good and they to exactly same thing, like other iPhone. Reveal was so dissapointing. And 13 is coming with ultra wide camera and cinamtic mode, this thing doesn't.

                Maybe I'll buy it at a cheaper price if I want to use it exclusively with Moment lenses or any mobile lenses with 17mm lens thread like Beastgrip or Reeflex to name just two, but that's all I can think of.

                  If I didn’t have the 13, I would be interested by that. People say featureless and expensive phone. Maybe. Personally, I don’t need more than one camera or MagSafe. On the other hand, I don’t need AI either. The vanilla 128gb iPhone 15 goes for 900$ where I am. Will still be noticeably more expensive than this year’s 16e. The 128gb iPhone 14 goes for 770 now and that’s a two year old model. Two years of upgrades gone. And the 16e will have better battery performance. So yes, would get the 16e if I didn’t already have the 13.

                    If this was 400€ instead of 700€ it would actually be a pretty nice phone. But at this price it's just... No. Too many compromises and at a flagship price. Hard pass.

                      I use Android, and it does all most everything or more than what an iPhone does so I don't/won't need an iPhone for life 🗿

                                      Milkooo, 15 hours agoFor 700€ you will be able to buy an s25 in 2 months, which ... moreThe problem with that argument is that in 2 months, the 16e will be cheaper as well and cost probably 600€ instead of the release 700€ price so now it’s a different price range again and not comparable.
