Unless you fall into the small middle group who don't mind or even enjoy switching OS, most smartphone users are not considering the opposite camp because why would they? Unless the OS you currently use has done something to genuinely annoy you, there is almost nothing new actually gained from swapping.

Hell, I share your sentiment just in reverse. I'd rather have a second hand Android instead of an iPhone.

    This is actually a great phone. period.

                The price is much higher than it should be, and there are too many drawbacks.

                          I'm not entirely sure what people expect?
                          Common sense should tell you that you won't get all of the features from the premium devices on the entry level device.

                                        This will be their least-selling device. First, because not many people want such small phones anymore. Second, price. Third, when you buy an iPhone, at least outside the US, you want people to notice it's an iPhone. That single camera at the back and those large bezels don't cut it. It's better to buy an older iPhone.
