iPhone 16, 128GB was trading at INR 68,999/- in India. On introducing 16e, iPhone 16 price hiked to INR 70,999/- just to manage 16e price.

But that doesn't mean it's not good. I'm sure it should have features similar to the IMX858, and that sensor was amazing!

And the leaks were saying it's going to cost 499$, so i expected it to be 600€ in Europe. I even got slightly excited for it. Not anymore, I guess. It's 720€!!

Not long ago i bought myself Find X6 Pro(as a side phone) 16/256 new sealed for 600 EUR, and this phone not only cheaper, but also better in the most aspects than it, lol

I wholeheartedly agree, if you want to buy a new phone and already have 600$ to spend, why not just wait another month for the next salary and get something like the 15 or even 16? It's not that huge of a gap, 200$ difference but you get something a lot better. Hell even an iPhone 14 pro is better

most compact or entry-level iphones come with smaller than standard battery.. even if the battery is worse on the 15, the fact that its cheaper than this 16e is just absurd and makes the 16e worthless with its huge notch

Just buy an iPhone 15 for a close price and enjoy extra features and higher specs in camera, screen or battery. this phone has no reason to exist !!!

€729 in Ireland?? What an absolute joke.
I know Apple are notoriour for phones being pricey, but for what you get, that is ABSURD.
Even my current phone (16 Pro Max) was outrageous, but moving from an iPhone 12 I could actually justify it.
You're better off waiting for an extra paycheck and just getting the base 16 over the 16e, if a current gen iPhone is really what you want. This thing needs a fairly steep discount to even warrant being worth it.
