Rkm, 21 Feb 2025Buying it at launch price is indeed naive. If there is some... moreI dont think it's better or make you feel much better to wait for something to have discount and then get it as it still be over priced cause it's not selling well and needs discount so people would buy it.
It's not like some Chinese phone that have like 2-3 OS updates to worry about so you can wait a year for the price to drop with these Apple phones and Samsung S class.
Like S24 is something 600 euro now and still have more then 5 years of software support. Then again who even use the phone so long and especially the flagships where people want to have the latest all the time

If there is some discount of 20-25% with some offers, then it is a fair deal if you want a no nonsense device which lasts more than 5 years. This is me stretching the scenario and trying to be as impartial as possible.

Because that discount is what the price should have been in the first place and what it will be in the future anyways.
