I have seen those previously when i was playing with permissions of Google and Samsung core apps. You can disable Google, chrome, etc, but you should never touch permissions of core apps and services..i know, it leaves a bad taste, but that's how android is working. Google and Samsung don't like being blocked to spy on you.. as any other phone :(
Also Google core services don't like cache cleanup - if you are using it, that could explain they are hanging..

You don't need to use Samsung services and accounts, but don't disable or remove permissions. Just don't accept Eula. You can (and should) disable what you don't like in camera and gallery apps, but not on app level via settings.

Also - decrease animations and don't use display auto tuning (color, refresh,etc)..

Scrolling through notification panel and search on Settings can be quite laggy sometimes even with no apps running in the background. Not to mention that Media picker, Google Play Services, and One UI Home that sometimes showing "App has stopped" prompt for no reason. I've tried updating, resetting the apps, and even resetting the phone, and it doesn't works for some reason.
And oh yeah, some features are backed into the phone so I can't really disable it, but there are some apps that must been able to be disabled from phone, such as Galaxy Store, Samsung Free, OneDrive, Samsung Reminder, Dual Apps, etc.

We often hear that from Chinese fans here, they all apparently own Samsung A and S series devices and have terrible experience with them. So, let's hear - don't forget, we might be able to help you.

I'm not putting irony here, seriously want to hear what exactly issues you do have with Samsung software on S22! And please, don't limit the info to "bloat i have to disable because I'm not using"..

Dunno about the A5x, but my S22 is quite buggy, even after software updates and some resets. Even worse than my experience with an Oppo Find X5 (which released at the same year). Plus, One UI on my S22 are literally have more bloatwares and useless features that I don't remember using than my ColorOS on Find X5 (both are unlocked model btw). I legitly thought that this might be just an issue with my S22, but guess what? Same things happened to my friend's "new" S24U! Other than some exclusive features like S-Pen on S24U or S24's "small" size, I will never understand why people is so loyal to one brand, like bruh try to look outside the box bro.
And oh yeah, also I will never understand with anyone who says One UI is flawless, miles ahead, far ahead, or whatever it is. Anyone who said that is simply never tried anything outside that (well tbh I can give an exception to Xiaomi, their software is also quite buggy in my experience).

The Chinese companies simply avoid spending money for software development and cheat/try to fool the customers.

Same applies to 14T and 14T Pro, which are simply cash grabs with Leica sticker on the back..same as HP with Bang&Olufsen stickers..

Anonymous, 25 Feb 2025*cough cough poco series *cough coughthey're amazing phones in terms of performance but not so much in terms of overall value due to their generally poor battery life and mostly lackluster cameras. Look at their Redmi Note phones. A shell of their former glory due to the horrendous price hikes.

403 Forbidden, 24 Feb 2025Welp, there are Xiaomi 14T and Vivo V40 which are better al... moreThe Xiaomi 14T is too expensive, or at least it was too expensive at launch, idk about current pricing.

The V40 is the only competent phone you're talking about here and you're absolutely right. I was comparing the A55's base 128 gb model with the V40's 256 gig one, my bad chief. I think in that case the V40 is indeed a very decent phone but the V50's getting a price hike iirc and that's gonna make it less competitive. Whatever the case, midrangers in general aren't getting much better.

Only the Xiaomi Poco, Vivo IQOO Neo and Oneplus R phones are getting better and that's mostly cus of their chips but even that is changing cus of their horrendous price hikes left and right. We're getting 256 gb as base nowadays in a lot of phones but it doesn't mean value is any better, they've just removed the 128 gb option (good riddance) but kept the 256 gb price. We don't even have a microsd card slot to supplement this issue.

The one good thing about the A55 is the Microsd card slot.

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2025So it lasted 4/5 years. That's more than any other And... moretheir newer phones won't/other manufacturers' newer phones will last the same amount of time as their newer phones. They don't have the lead they have anymore. I've seen people using the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro even now, going to show how even Xiaomi's phones can last long now.

So Samsung phones don't have anything special.

                        Redmi Note 7

                        iPhone 7 Plus
                        Galaxy A50 (mine)

                        I'll say most are fine

And I doubt the phone can last after three OS update.

don't need os updates for new features to add but need bug fixes for as long as it can keep the phone running smoothly as new.

but need longer warranty periods and guarantee on parts availability and repair services at nominal cost.
