Microsoft officially acquires Nokia's devices & services units

The deal is expected to wrap up in the first quarter of 2014, after the usual round of regulatory approvals.

        one last wish...
        nokiaaa u still got one last year left...bring out an android/sailfish/meego...not because android is the best..but because we need to see u rising....only high sales chart figures can boost ur profit..not a windows os or its ownership...
        or atleast bring out some crap phones with poor built quality..poor camera..poor battery..atleast we can have some good reasons to hate u nokia ..... ....disconnected sad and diminished.... ...

                This was too smart, Microsoft realized that if they didn't make this move and Windows Phone failed that Nokia may have started to make Android devices. I honestly think this is a win-win on both sides. These two companies need one another, they both are at the point where they are searching for their identities and finding one another will only help the cause.

                    I remember the good old days where we had Nokia vs (sony) Ericsson. All the rest was left out and it was a glorius time.

                        hopes of having a nokia android device ends here. Nokia lost a customer (me) here for sure. Sad day for nokia fans
