People like the design and the size, but are less keen on the price - there are plenty of mid-rangers that offer better hardware for the same amount of money.

Also you can't compared Poco X or F series with the Pixel based on price only.

Poco X and F series have performance like a flagship phone while are priced in middle class. While Pixel is priced in the range of budget flagship with middle class hardware that is way way below Poco X and f series and never mind that Pixel 9a is with hardware in majority as you expect from a budget phone in the range of 200 euro. The only good part is their performance that is in the middle of middle class performance but all the rest of the features are not even as good as 200 euro phones have

    People buy iPhones cause it's a status symbol and people even get bullied if they dont have iPhone. Some people dont even date the people who dont have iPhone.

    There are reasons you dont want to see. It's not the camera on the phones why people buy these brands. As most people dont know shet about cameras. Even i dont know shet about cameras and well i dont even care to know. Cameras on the phone have got so good that even on budget to low end now have already good enough cameras. For these clicks and videos they are enough that you use in the wild when you see something you need to record. The quality of the picture is something people dont care when they can understand people faces and everything on the picture. Will it have less static or what ever with more expensive phones is something people just dont know. Also some people are just sold to the advertising of good cameras even tough the use their phone cameras will ever get is same as on low end and same satisfying too

If people are out and about and there's a photo opportunity, they have their phones with them, not digital cameras or a professional photographer. If phone cameras didn't matter to anyone, people wouldn't buy Pixels and iPhones over other brands.

Electronics lose value fast and also get out of date fast. If i dont have money then i dont need the phone. Never mind that already 150 euro phones do decent quality pictures with their cameras as the phone camera wont be ever used anyways for family memories and even if are these do good enough pictures as the quality are way better then the era of digital cameras that tourist use.

                              I always buy phone out at the day i go to shop. I also dont mostly buy over 300 euro phones too. Ok the last phone i bought was 400 euro but before that at max was 300 euro.
                              And now we are already in a era where 300 euro phone is doing you all you need from a phone and there is no point to pay more for a phone other then status symbol. Like Poco X Pro series is already so powerful that you dont need better for 5 years in use.

                              Also if people are concerned about security then they would not even visit this site that is not supported with secure network. Like few days ago i got error in this page that the site is not supported in secure network and the site has something that is attacking my network

                                Apple, Samsung, Sony and Google and all are too expensive for majority as these dont offer anything good for decent price. At 200-500 euro range there is nothing from them while Chinese give you already a flagship performance for the money.

                                Sony and Samsung give you at best SD870 performance for 500 euro range.
                                Cameras for pet pictures and so on are good enough already on 150 euro phones

Also not a single rational person would buy a phone for camera sake to make family photos and memories. They go to a professional photographer studio to make a family photos where the4y dress up for occasion too.

                                  Or hire a photographer to a party and so on if they want memory pictures. There is no way that people buy a phone for that. Especially when you say that people dont have money to buy a digital camera then how the heck they have money to buy 500 plus euro phone for that ?

                                    Xiaomi 6.36 inch screen is around the same size as these pixels.

                                    And the price of the 9a is already a flagship range and especially cause of it's poor hardware.
                                    It has middle class hardware for a flagship price as Poco F series is a flagship phone for Poco brand. Also pixel 9a price is as high as 1 generation old Samsung flagship

                                    2mm wider and 2mm taller with 0.6 inch smaller screen for pixel 9a compared to Xiaomi 15

I'm confident in saying the majority of people will just get the device on contract, how many people actually buy out their device (in a ratio of the country/continent not a "well I know this many people" Situation)

                                        Usually best for money are Poco phones let's be honest, 12 bit Dolby vision screens with useable cameras for about £300 and the latest/last gen top of the line SoC.
