Last time i checked, people avoided Oneplus and especially Xiaomi, because they were worse with their updates, especially in older devices.

Up until Android 14, Samsung was one of the fastest Android companies behind Google in software support.

I hv update my phone... A hour ago and it's working perfectly....

Buy a phone not for the purpose of updates, the best software is the one that comes with the phones, updates may give you features but not reliability

The last thing that users should be subjected to are critical bugs, especially those that affects basic functionality of the device. WHETHER rushed or delayed, but worse if it's the latter.

They most likely can wait a bit longer, but do they want to, do they deserve to do so? I don't think so.

Anonymous, 14 Apr 2025🤣🤣 we iPhone usere LAUGH at poor scamsung slowdroid peaasen... morejust two days after I bought the phone, apple decided to COMPLETELY disable my apple id for no reason and to lock my phone without the possibility of even downloading applications, something that has never happened to me in 10 years of using android and 3 years of the galaxy s21, which I sold with heavy regret, it's terrible that I have to wait so long for an android update, but at least I was able to use the phone

Anonymous, 14 Apr 2025unfortunate is being very very generous I know. Not pulling it though would be even worse. Sucks, but what can be done? It's not like those waiting for the update can't wait for a little bit longer now ^^`

Where are those people who were recently commenting, saying, "better late and stable than early and buggy"? Guess what? You got late and buggy both, and there's still devices that haven't got the update.

I've never been a fan of Samsung smartphones but I've never been a hater, so I'm not bashing them now. This is bad though, quite bad.

What a mess. They'll lose a lot of custom over this. It's not good enough.

Year 1 of Samsung's offer of 7 years of updates: delayed by half Android release cycle.
It does not look well for the future.

That said, I have OneUI7 and the improvements are nice, especially lock screen cards for thing I now don't need to unlock the whole phone for.

I'm glad I'll stick around S24U for a while longer, we'll see if these are temporary release issues or not. But if not then I'll have no problem going for Pixel in two years.
