xPandamon, 14 Apr 2025No polishing in the world can make up for actual users test... moreSo then maybe have actual people test out the update during the insanely long time that they took to even start sending out the updates. Don't tell me a huge company like Samsung doesn't have enough people to do this.

BudgetPhoneFinder, 14 Apr 2025So true. Samsung is the worst brand EVER. A02s didnt includ... moreSo you're comparing A02 and A23 low level with a midrange phone from a different price category? Cool, guess you made the right call to stick with Apple then, right customer base.

xPandamon, 14 Apr 2025No polishing in the world can make up for actual users test... morehave read it was an issue with unlocking the phone, others have said even bricking trying to restart the phone.. whatever it is it must be pretty bad for samsung to completely pull it from their servers. Samsung needs to come out and say something instead of leaving people in the dark, again..

You couldn't make this stuff up. Is the Tangerine Tyrant threatening tariffs if they release OneUI 7 before Google releases Android 16?

DarlingYext, 14 Apr 2025"..Samsung discovered several bugs on devices that got... moreNo polishing in the world can make up for actual users testing the firmware, unfortunately. It's most likely some obscure stuff that simply did not happen before or wasn't reported. Sucks, but the secure folder being broken under some circumstances is a pretty big issue for some people.

It's obvious they haven't done well with sales of the S25 series this year! And that's why they're coming up with this nonsense. S23 Ultra user* Never a Samsung again. Apple awaits me or maybe the Pixel 10XL if Google does things right.

So basically anyone who doesn't own a 2025 Samsung should give up hope of receiving a15/one ui 7. Just skip it and wait for a16/one ui 8. This is very embarrassing for such a big company. This a35 user is considering a pixel for their next phone.

"..Samsung discovered several bugs on devices that got the One UI 7 update, including instances where updated phones could “not be unlocked normally”."
They were polishing the update so hard they broke it in the end, what an absolute joke, they took the longest to update their older devices and what they managed to deliver is more of a downgrade if anything.

Samsungs been selling us the same phones for years fine, this year with essentially zero hardware upgrades for the 25 series you had one job...software
One positive they'll be all over this to get sorted asap/ try and save any damaged rep
The kicker is this seems to be affecting the exynos variant, there own in-house chip.

Nomolos, 14 Apr 2025Yes, nobody in the world saw this coming. Really surprising... moreSo true. Samsung is the worst brand EVER. A02s didnt include essential features and the phone died in 3 months. A23 lacked 1080p/60fps for a 350 EUR phone and had mediocre specs. I had no choice. Using iPhone 11 and very proud
