So basically anyone who doesn't own a 2025 Samsung should give up hope of receiving a15/one ui 7. Just skip it and wait for a16/one ui 8. This is very embarrassing for such a big company. This a35 user is considering a pixel for their next phone.

"..Samsung discovered several bugs on devices that got the One UI 7 update, including instances where updated phones could “not be unlocked normally”."
They were polishing the update so hard they broke it in the end, what an absolute joke, they took the longest to update their older devices and what they managed to deliver is more of a downgrade if anything.

Samsungs been selling us the same phones for years fine, this year with essentially zero hardware upgrades for the 25 series you had one job...software
One positive they'll be all over this to get sorted asap/ try and save any damaged rep
The kicker is this seems to be affecting the exynos variant, there own in-house chip.

Nomolos, 14 Apr 2025Yes, nobody in the world saw this coming. Really surprising... moreSo true. Samsung is the worst brand EVER. A02s didnt include essential features and the phone died in 3 months. A23 lacked 1080p/60fps for a 350 EUR phone and had mediocre specs. I had no choice. Using iPhone 11 and very proud

Yes, nobody in the world saw this coming. Really surprising for a company that is so hell bent on needlessly revamping its UI instead of working on things that actually matter - like A\B partition support for seamlesss updates - effectively being the last OEM on the planet to deliver this.
