Yes, mobile screen is durable. It fallen 5-6 times from height 1 meter. But not a single scratch came. Few dents on aluminium but screen is all OK.

Andy Swat, 26 Apr 2025It's like using a car without seat beltsPeople uses several public transport vechicles without seat belts and still surviving the crazy jam packed journeys they get while commuting.
Actually seat belt and phone cover is a luxury item, i think we should ban this 2 items.

Ha! Do you really believe a word anyone giving you bad advice says? A case is ALWAYS much better. In fact manufacturers should all be shamed publicly for refusing to fit lanyard holes and supplying strong wriststraps to go with their extremely expensive smartphones, as Nokia used to do, with Microsoft’s Lumias inheriting this very sensible option. Because if your phone is on a wriststrap around your wqrist or round your neck on a decent cord, well, THEN is when you do not need a case. I would not dream of going out with no case fitted with a cord or wristrap on my phone. Like my normal camera. They do not survive drops at all well because your lenses get damaged, their focussing goes all funny, and their image stabilization gives more problems. And then you have to buy another one which, polite cough, IS the only reason for this disgraceful Apple ad!

So this is apple's latest way to make money.
1) make false claims of durability
2) wait for users to actually believe it and end up dropping and breaking their phones
3) and voila! Lots of broken screens to fix 💸 💸
The fruit company is at it again. Just use a case

If phone makers want you to use your phone without a case, they should make the phones grip-able like Sony did with Xperia 1V&VI. I would love to use my phones without a case, but phones are just too damn slippery.

Yep but only because the phones today are way to slippery. They even glide on flat surfaces.
I like what Motorola is doing with its "vegan leather". Grippy and good looking without feeling cheap. Like the old Nokia Lumia phones!
