Apple does the thinking and Samsung does the making. They're Foxconn for chips. I wouldn't bring up the Qualcomm thing either. They conveniently forget that Qualcomm's chips always puts Exynos to shame.

A closed system like ios allows software makers to optimize their product to the hardware/software that remains same, or bares same features across generations. Such optimization is nearly impossible on android due to various hardware combinations. This is the main reason benchmarks always fail to show relative performance of hardware on different operating systems...rest asdured, the a7 is indeed slower than snapdragon 600's, needless to say 800's...but unless you test both using on the same platform, like ubuntu mobile, the results are gonna be crap..

Well Apple A7 chip is the second best in Benchmark after Snapdragon 800, its dual core vs Octa and have almost half RAM, Its good to say Apple A7 Chip is better than quad core Android phones with 2 gb ram, GPU is also faster, so there is something in 64 bit processor for sure.
Also just having a rich hardware does not make overall experience great, hardware and software integration required to make it best user exeperience. Apple is clear winner here.
I am using HTC One with 4.3 upgrade I have compared it with iphone 5S, I must admit that iphone 5S is better in all the bechmarks. However I am not upgrading as I like little bigger screen.
I must have to laugh on Qualcomm VP, who is VP but does not have common sense.

Synthetic benchmarks are extremely platform-dependent. Optimizations can sway numbers significantly...people should understand that. Even if the snapdragon famili loses to a7 in those, the real tedt would be to put the same os on all devices and go from there. Android vs android benchmarks should be good since they essentially are ran on same os, and the only variable is the hardware. In fact, websites who run these comparisons have bafoons for writers...it's a real shame. That being said, snapdragons 600 and 800 are undoubtedly faster than a7, but that does not take away from the engineering feat that a7 embodies...it's an incredibly quick chip that is technologically ahead of its rivals...even if it is slower...that's what apple has always been...

Please explain how a phone with just 1GB Ram and a Dual Core 1.3GHz Processor, is SMASHING all of the the other phones in almost every benchmark?

WP ha... moreI was thinking the same way like you before but after burrowed an iphone from my sister for 2 days i am totally giveup on apple ,missing alot of functionality which android could easily achive . Premium ? The same old cheap small screen which ifuns always praise how smooth its . I see no lag on s4 with 5inch screen with 441ppi . Beside if android giveup all flexibility to manufacturers and functionality , then we will get another apple . Anyway ios7 control center is a good move even it's directly copy android .

Linux was the only OS which could take advantage of it.
This guy is dead wrong and is only interested in promoting his company.

I really don't think you've understood the point that he was trying to make. Your comment "Dude pls see this point 64 bit architecture is useful only if 4gb or more ram is provided" is wrong, the article doesn't say that at all. From an engineering perspective a 64-bit CPU can go beyond 4GB of RAM which was the maximum limit when 32-bit processors are used. As for the point worth noting is that this man is a marketing guy himself, he just needs something to sell his own product. This is a misconception that more the ram the better the performance, it equally depends on how well the OS can handle it as well. I do agree to the point that Apple could've gone with a higher memory range rather than just stick with 1GB to increase their profit margins, but if people don't seem to mind it & the phone works well enough then who am I to complaint.

if he said that they r working on it then it is actually going to b useful since unlike crapple iphones there are already upto 3gb phones in android.
it makes sense since when snapdragon comes with 64 bit its gonna do wat it does so effectively and efficiently.... Yup u guessed it ryt, make crapple iphone look like a *** ****.
