with 32bit Apps in... moreIts like putting an elephant in the middle of stadium.
Waste of resources is what the iphones are known for. The same way they waste the screen size on a high res display. While other makers just made screen bigger along with the res and ppi.

Its no surprise, as A7 is giving a tough fight to the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800. Also, it must be noted that A7 is the first ever chip that is based on ARM v8 Architecture, & 64 Bit would be utilized by 64bit apps, which is why Apple is encouraging Developers to start creating 64bit Apps. From next year I assure you this, we Would see a flood of 64 Bit Processors from Multiple Co. including Qualcomm for Android & Windows Phones. Then, I wud love to hear the Comments from these A7 Critics. Its a drastic change in the Mobile industry which needs time to get accepted.

WP has fewer apps but ios has ease of use with loads of apps! Thing is not everyone wants to be clearing ram and cache all the time just to get phone to run properly! Yes iphone is priced too high but you pay for premium looks and quality of its OS! Also how many people have bricked their droid or had problems with settings theyve messed around with? With ios you have the smoothness there from day 1 so theres no need for settings to tinker with! If Apple did a phone at 4.5+ inch screen at same price as the equivelant droid I think I would change! Android has had long enough to get a lag free os now and it just isnt acceptable now!

If the only purpose of a 64-bit cpu is to allow the OS to see more than 4GB of Ram, then yes, is am marketing gimmick. Ignorance is a bliss

Scratch that HTC is facing too many lawsuits from Nokia for using their patent stuff! Best try using Sony! Even a cheaper phone will give you better smoothness than a flagship!

What's the difference between a V10 and a V12 engine?? They both provide good speed and a good engine roar!! V12 engine runs on Biturbo engines! So I would assume the V12 is more like the 64bit proccesor.

The fanboys can bring up customization and openness all they want, but at the end of the day, most people just want a phone and app ecosystem that just works well. The fanboys can laugh and say only "non tech" people use iPhone or even WP, but that's the point! Welcome to the consumer market! Price, ease of use and reliability trump octa cores and benchmarks any day of the week.

Doesn't everyone know that apple is going to fail and Qualcomm is the beat chip manufacturer I know and they are just saying that apple should make full use of the 4gb ram

Normally, a 32bits cpu can only make use of 3.5GB of ram. You need 64bits cpu to use full 4GB of RAM.

I'm currently using one and, God willing, my next phone will be a WP8. I've had my fill of lags, crashes, reboots, and having to use flipping Nova Launcher just for an average Android experience.

qualcomm is mostly right but there's no way round the fact that power vr sgx543 dual-core (4s) is more a more powerful gpu than ulp geforce.
