It's really funny to see iPhone lovers get angry over N97.
I really think that apple is really the pioneer in this new era of touch screen.
But I really think that apple fan need to admit that apple is making a big mistake by bad marketing technique. Such as locking a phone to specific operator that render your phone useless when you were traveling outside your home country. Except to use the roaming service, which is not gonna be cheap. And many more apple mistake that make a non-america hate it.
my note: in my country there were 6 GSM/3G operator and 5 CDMA operator. Most of us here have 2 or 3 handphone. 1 permanent number, and the other 2 were using which ever have the best rate. In country like mine (270 million people, 120 million handphone subscribers) no one droll for apple iphone.... ok... we droll, but we won't buy it

basically nothing compares to OSX - and i mean the iphone. all other phones might look nicer, have better specs, qualities, etc... but nothing, i mean nothing will beat the slikyness and smoothness of OSX. its just that good and everyone knows it.

Hi,
SE Xperia were developed with Symbian, but latter on change to WinMo just because Symbian decide to make their own touch OS and not using the SE UIQ.
I think SE is making a big mistake. They shouldn't make a decision based on anger that UIQ is redeem death by Symbian. Now they paying the consequences. Using a second grade OS, just because they were angry.
Other than that, I think SE need to follow the rest of the world on using TransFlash. I really hate SONY product to use their own kind of memory. (I Love their product quality though).

Some people didn't realize yet that a multi-touch interface needs two hands to be operated (one hand to hold the device and another hand to operate it). The new Symbian UI was made with one hand operation in mind. You can do anything with just one hand, except using the QWERTY keyboard. Very nice when you have one hand busy, or if you don't have another hand at all...

nokia is the best its policy in making mobile phones is a success no one can deny that it has 45% of world market share in mobile phones , but i think its now that nokia make and new brand name like n-series but with only one device that really all the developer can focus on like iphone for the apple , it has to be superior in terms of software cause lets be honest hardware like camera size , internal capacity has limits on mobile uses for example my whole library of music and videos that i use is no more than 6 gb and posting hi-ris pictures for the web is really time consuming ok camera and high capacity is important but for a limits but what really can make a difference is connectivity and easy user interface for the first thing ok nokia is focusing on but for the second thing ok nokia aware about but why it cant bring the multi-touch interface my god how easy u can browse the interent with it and how magical it feels , please nokia bring the multi-touch interface make your own software u have the money and the man power to do that
enough , dont let the natzy company apple control that market

hello everybody
first of all , i dont think that there is any similarity between the n97 and se beside the keyboard ,
im a nokia fan , truly im but i own iphone for six month now i think the iphone is so much ahead of its time time in the terms of softwares ofcaurse and i mean the multi-touch interface , the most logic menus i have ever seen on a device although its hard to add and remove contents of the iphone at first but after a while it doesnt matter cause after 2 days using u will litrarly fall in love with the device its sleek the music player so loud and u can download any youtube video directly to the device and also download any song you want using an app called dtunes similar to itunes
and also every time u connect it to the pc it will do a fast back up for the device so if for any reason the iphone stop working u can restore it
now if nokia can bring all of that and i mean by all including the multi-touch "and i want to tell nokia to stop braging about the widgets cause the iphone already have it" and the biggest library of app i have seen it will fall very hard

after seeing the video all i can say is WOW...to bad its going to be release in the Q2 next year...ill just have go for the 5800 for now
