To me the number of cores doesn't matter. The most important thing is how fast the file is opened and of course how fast web page loads. And also the battery to last as long as possible. Nowadays all phone manufacturer are trying to get the title of the worlds best slimmest phone manufacturer and they all fails on the battery. The phone becomes too slim and the battery size had to be sacrificed to accommodate slim size phone.
I know there are nerds out there who always comments "WHO WANTs TO CARRY A BRICK" They didn't realized that they are the ones who carry brick around even if they bring with them the slimmest phone. This is just basic mathematics which they are not aware of.
Eg SLIM PHONE + EXTERNAL POWER BANK = Equivalent to Brick Phone.

There are mostly Apple fans who says Android lags. But true is iOS lags. There are LAGS in iMessage, LAGS in wifi connection, LAGS in network signal since iphone 4, LAGS in Apple Maps, LAGS in lockscreen that can be bypassed, LAGS in whole OS that drains the battery, iphone 5c is flop and Apple has ordered to slow down its production. Slo-Mo video in 5s is actually 480p which is upsized to 720p.

we do need better chipsets b it ios android or windows ..
...yes i do agree most of the apps run on a single core or dual core processers however there r some unique really awesome apps and features that r not supported by the low core processors
like my s2 is dual core it does not have screen mirroring but my note2 has screen mirroring and i feel screen mirroring is a really awesome feature with a full hd smart tv ... like wise there many other apps , hd games and features which only runs on more powerfull chipsets ..so just welcome the new tech ...

Well buddy, you can't blame me for that,you can see their performance(http://www.gsmarena.com/mediatek_mt6589_octacore_cpu_gets_benchmarked-news-6997.php) is lower than quad core galaxy S4 and of course it will surely be lower than octa-core S4 in Antutu Comparison.So, their so-called true octa core is nothing more than a fable story. Good to know but too hard to be true.
