I agree with the gents above, Apple stole most of their stuff and then decided to charge samsung, and in turn now that all the other companies have locked up their own patents apple cant steal or develop their product further and the only thing they can do is sue samsung to stay a-float. Well at least thats my opinion. Either way....Go Android haha :D

Apple wants to patent the famous Finger Scanner on their 5s, claiming to be the first of its kind. I was using finger scanner on my old crappy IBM laptops and later HP laptops. But because its been put on a phone and its apple they will get away with it. An invention that was there years before but other companies were too stupid to act on. Its all bullcrap, but all this arguing and side taking is what these companies want from us. Try all the products, buy as many and make them rich. Apple with their overpriced stock and samsung with their floded market of every galaxy version of phones. They win either way.

Actually the iPhone is a stolen product,completely. From the moment Apple entered the market back in 2007.
Lets begin ( the ability to make and receive calls) stolen, (ability to send and receive messages) (to take and receive pictures - only later to record videos on the 3gs without being jailbroken and only later to add front camera and call it Facetime) stolen ideas , from crappy old nokias and old Skype ideas. ( the ability to have an operating system running a phone) stolen idea. ( the ability of touchscreen on a phone its a stolen idea, i dont care how crappy older sony erricson and windows try hard os phones were, in 2007 iphone released a phone. Apple entered the market about 12 years too late for phone markets and when they did It was all a stolen product that other companies did not sue or patent their products against apple. Why is it so hard to sue apple? Cause they either bought or paid off briiliant ideas from the past. Now they want money back from things like Pinch and Zoom and Rounded Corners.
People should patent TVs so when apple enters the market, oh wait, they shouldnt enter cause it will be stolen.

This is so funny to see Apple asking for Samsung to pay them to they can pay their own lawyers,sorry Apple you brought this on you,nobody asked you to do all these low actions against Samsung.
Just go and make your ios open source so we can use custom roms,we are in 2014,phones need to be freed and customizable.Listedn to Steve Wozniak and stop losing time accusing Sammy

I seriously question apple about their fair play. "when you cannot win with superior technology, cos you ran out of ideas, you ran out of tech leadership - then you sue everybody, hoping that maybe you can win on curt?)

Apple only ever win in US Courts because frnakly in the US courts you can win a court case for anything......does a guy suing mcdonalds for making him fat and winning ring a bell???? US courts are a joke. Everyone steals/uses everyone elses idea? I think the distant relatives of Thomas edison should sue everyone for making phones therefore stealing their idea!!!

Apple are the worst when it comes to infringement. There was a case a while ago where they were threatening a manufacturer over a camera patent, turned out Apple never even owned the patent in question at that time Kodak did. Now Motorola own the gsm patent which allows phones to work as they do, i really wish Google would make Apple drop all these silly patent cases so all could get on with making phones.

I want to ask people that why they say that Samsung make cheap plastic models while those plastic models are 2.5x more powerful than apple's so called innovative iPhone. My Samsung galaxy s4 mini can do everything that iPhone 5s can do and what is the use of so called 64 bit processor without less than 2gb of ram. Next year we will see samsung GS5 which can exactly use the power of 64 bit processor with about 3.5gb ram and it can run any app simultaneously that iPhone can run by taking time. If apple want to continue their patent war with Samsung then they will also have to innovative line samsung....
I am a vvv big fan of Samsung and I will always remain a fan of samsung and i don't care about apple and what thier foolish fans say about samsung

Steve Jobs openly admits to shamelessly stealing.
He made his own daughter live on Welfare and would not claim her til she was older...Said he wanted her to learn.
Apple shamelessly stole the name Ipad and Iphone from existing devices.
They took the design from the LG Prada
They used nearly identical chips to Samsung's architecture.
In the UK after they finally lost the battle over ipad and galaxy tab they had to post on their site samsung did not copy.
Then apple tried again and had to do the same and compensate. They claimed 2 weeks was not enough time to add a link. Then made it in a non complying way and had to be reinforced by the courts to adhere to the court ruling.
They used photo shopped evidence in us and uk courts pertaining to iphone and ipad.
They barely designed IOS and they copied the iphone design then bought and stole the rest.
There is the small glimpse of truth.

Steve Jobs was actually a cheater. He cheated his friend who taught him about electronic circuit system, he cheated Steve Wozniak. Once he had got contract from Atari. He hadn't much knowledge of that so he contact Woz and said we will share 50-50 of earning. Then after payment he told they gave me $700 but it was actually $5000.
