This is just sad NOKIA the only mobile brand name I could defend and purchase blindly if I have to, Now am not emotionally connected to any other brand name.

let's be honest nokia have always had a glorious past in mobile history specially the camera featured mobiles but, people stopped talking about nokia or at least in a good manner three or four years ago , since the rise of samsung and lg and sony , cause simply all of their line up was entry level mobiles , who brought them back to their old glory ??? one word MICROSOFT . lumia's were not even known before the microsoft acquisition cause they lacked the proper hardware and now when microsoft takes over people are feeling bad !! well i am feeling great cause now microsoft can build their OS and at the same time they have nokia partition as their right hand working for their hardware . imagine a company that makes it's own hardware and software as well !! MICROSOFT will once more prove it's one of the major players in technology arena :D

Yuck. Even though they retain the same software, I would not even consider another windows phone that is not Nokia branded and i'm sure a lot of people will think the same thing. WP had gained traction, now see it flop.

I will keep my Nokia Asha 302 forever, this is my last mobile Nokia. I like Nokia with Windows OS but I hate Microsoft. Sure, no one will buy windows mobiles under the Microsoft logo. Becasue of Nokia Windows mobile still alive. Microsoft cheated Nokia. Now people will punish Microsoft by avoiding Windows mobiles. I Love You Nokia. You will be in our heart forever. I hope you will be back in 2016 with Jolla OS. Most of the people don't know Nokia have some hidden plans with Jolla. Microsoft cheated Nokia, Nokia will never die. Once the deal completes with Microsoft, Nokia reveals everything in 2016 Jolla deals. Jolla is a subsidiry of Nokia.

well many ppl includin me hv stopped buyin nokia! but this is lyk too emotional! I started remembering 6-7 yrs back, when there there were only 5 mobile phones and all them were Nokia ! My very very first phone was also nokia

Microsoft should keep the name Nokia if they really want to keep up with Apple and Google,changing the name will make sales very slow and low.consider Microsoft to also die if its changes the Nokia. Name

Doen't sounds nice "Microsoft Mobile". It just doesn't have the feeling. Microsoft, be wise and give it an other name!
I still find it a pitty that Nokia could not make on its own. A big lesson for all others: don't think you are (and will remain) the best for ever. Keep inventing, Samsung is doing very well indeed!
