if this is true - why don't they really use the logo as pure " nokia " which everyone will love . this is not a nice move . they can just push in that slogan of " by microsoft " just in there wp os about section or something .

Confirmed. Pushing Microsoft branding in smartphone industry through a very capable Nokia brand will not only kill the Nokia brand but it will also destroy the commitment, confidence, comfort and authenticity of Nokia loyalist towards the brand. Nokia is Microsoft's subsidiary for some extent and everybody acknowledge that. There is no need to project this through the branding.

this is only temporal u cant have NOKIA unless they buy the entire nokia.

Well... most of nokia's WP, have an issue with the physical buttons... they break really easily and are not easy to fix.

I think glowing WP logo and Nokia by Microsoft at the bottom would be so beautiful and cool on the flagship Lumias and good job Microsoft keeping the Nokia branding on your phones

"Nokia by Microsoft" yes without that Microsoft can sell any phone ;) And why we must wait 2 years for mid-range phone from MS ? everything below 8XX series like 5XX-6XX is low-range. We can choose low end or 9XX/10XX series, i think 2 years for new mid is too long. What this time..no radio or what ? :D

They could have mentioned the "by Microsoft" etc details on the bottom back while the center retains the Nokia.
