i think the black plate for the camera is an advantage IMO, since the flash would not bounce back through the white surface that will make your picture "foggy"- remember iPhone 4 issues? unless, software will be equipped in managing this issue.

By emphasizing the camera on lower models, customers may lean towards buying Nokia, through the flagship camera halo effect.
Kind of how flagship cars such as Mitsubishi Evo led to higher sales of Lancers, even though they didn't perform the same.

I dont get why they would do a camera-centric look on the device that does not really offer that impressive camera.
They could habe done the cicle in chrome, if they felt they needed to sell on the pureview point. Complementing that with chromes text, and it would look more integrated.
And if MS wants to be the camera centric brand, they might get in to troubble, by using lower end imaging products in lower end devices, as they will then not universally be thought as a camera centric brand, by all those who heard about the less performing lower end devices.
That phone however looks like it has a bigger screen than suggested in the post.

It's quite tastefully done. Emphasis is still Nokia, but also gives Microsoft branding which does also carry with it some weight.

This naming is disgusting, it Microsoft did not make Nokia to say Nokia by Microsoft. It should stay Nokia. And write in small letters at the edge Microsoft.
