I am writing this using the mighty Nokia N8. I hope Microsoft drops the Nokia name soon since this isn't real Nokia anyway. It's all Microsoft. Hope to see real Nokia back in 2016. (-:

Damn it MS¡A lot of folk argued that Nokia made the right choice going with Microsoft because they were doomed anyway but if they had chosen Android they would be up there with Samsung. So further down the line Nokia been killed off anyway so Nokia should have gambled with Android anyway because they had nowt to lose..

R.I.P Nokia.
Let me put this simple. Nokia chose not to go with Android so they are now owned by M$, which are looking after their own interests as a corporation. I foresee closure of all Nokia's buildings in Finland and outsourcing everything to a cheaper market, like India.

The X series "to me" meant a chance down the line Nokia would bring out true Android smartphone..Thats gone now and know you cannot hang on to the past but grew up with Nokia/Symbian and now thats it,,,gone.

Geeeee, Microsoft just gone crazy, just few days back they released X2, X has been denied update, what the hell in the world are they thinking? Stephen Elop chaos? This just gives a big NO CONFIDENCE to whoever buy their devices. I've been cheering for recovery of Nokia for long-time now, buying Lumia devices, but now I want to switch.

Well thats shocked me but made my mind up with my Lumia 625 ,,its gone/sold i am going back to Android with maybe a try of iphone just to see.

With this news i reckon W8 is dead too because all podcast folk and people i know mainly buying because of Nokia brand and perhaps Pureview. The excuse of Pureview is VERY niche and Nokia brand now dead thats it.
Also who is going to invest in W8 anymore every bloody release is met by "Oh the next update will bring these functions/apps".Then it does not so folk say next release will be the one but thats gone on for years now and cannot believe the o/S is viable.
I don't want it to be just Android IOS though ,Tizen like bada looks dead,BB is just niche and Firefox and Jolla are ultra niche.
Something will come along and spark a new war and that O/S will take over its guaranteed as history proves. My bet is a merger or the big Chinese brands may decide to bring out their own new smartphone O/S they have the power.
i wish Symbian and WEB OS had pushed through i still swear they were battery efficient multitasking behemoths.

MS will kill their own failed Win OS eventually & adopt Android in future. F**k MS for killing Nokia. Nokia was best with Symbian OS.
