Microsoft itself that limit developer to only use crappy Win8, visual studio, and paid dev license when building WP apps.
Even to use winphone emulator on local machine, win8 PC must have dev license and renewed every month. NOT developer friendly, and it's Microsoft fault.

When they have Windows then what is the need for BugDroid and LagDroid I support Satya this is a good move the rest of Nokia is useless when they have Lumia the Awesomeness ask any Lumia user they are happy with it...
Use Lumia once you'llnever switch back to any other phone

Déjà vu! Had it coming....Android dream (with Nokia x series) failure was expected. No big deal :) Nokia has a good design team, hardware and software. So it'll live :)

I have used wp8+8.1 for one year, later i decided to try android, what i can say WP is a toy like OS and android is PC like OS. In windows phone you cannot have true multi tasking the way u can do in android. i.e you cant let apps even download in the background e.g wptorrent u should wait for it to finish downloading unless otherwise it will just pause. What i can say in wp Microsoft pretend they know you that's why they control you but in android things are different u have a total control of your device. Moreover Wp lacks a lot of apps compared to android.

Most of you write Nokia this and Nokia that... Don't you get that this news has nothing to do with Nokia. Nokia sold it's device business to MS. What I don't understand is why MS paid billions of $ just to basically close down the operations 1/2 year later. I understand that google bought Moto for the patents... But Nokia kept the patents and basically only sold the people and the factories... And elop - this guy must be completely resistant to learn from his own mistakes.... Was he writing this mail because the first burning platform mail was such a great success??!!

yes those creative people at nokia are getting dumpped because of these incompetent, inexperience decision making by those microsoft people.remember the reason why microsoft dominated throuout the years. its because of monopoly and nothing else. other just dont want to compete because of lack of money. microsoft think that steve elope is their savior. what the hell he knows about phone. they only know is how to make money, knows nothing about phone. see what steve jobs did to apple and bill gates to microsoft. they did great because they know what they are doing, they know what people want and they give they deliver the goods.
