Behind the curve of what?
Of Samsung's test-optimized and cooked scores, or in terms of user experience?
Because my old iPhone is actually a bit smoother than my Xperia, and also a little more fluid than the Galaxy S5 I tried for three days and returned.
Stupid people like specs and see little else.

Happens maybe once a day, on one app. It's not a big deal... plus the phone is heading into 3 years, (its expected, and my choice not to upgrade yet, however extremely tempted to upgrade to the 6 plus) stop attacking users, if you love the alpha so much drop by their page and brag about how it's the greatest thing to man for crying out loud.

Battery life is *starting* to have issues, because the phone is 3 years old already. 30 bucks for a new battery if I wanted. not a problem. bull shit fandroids making false claims, you punks can't hide it. the iphone 4s lags like mad with ios 7 and it really messed up the battery performance too.
and yes this may happen with some devices but not all of the them coz there are a lot of different andriod devices out there

I find it amusing how the Androids only start to slow down and misbehave to Apple users, while actual Android users somehow manage to be competent enough to have their devices up and running for the long haul.
Top tip: if your device has actually started to slow to a crawl then you either have an hardware problem (RMA it) or you just need to reset your phone to factory defaults.
IN NO WAY YOU SHOULD PURCHASE A NEW DEVICE JUST FOR THAT.
Maybe that's how Apple does things, but this isn't Apple.

If you update it to the next android version, the phone slows down even more. Killing the life time of the phone, in the end, forcing you android to switch phones every year. am i right? i know i'm right. Meanwhile iphone users switch every 3 years, because the phone lasts a long time. My 4s is running ios 7 no problem.
specs mean nothing. Performance tests is the most important. such as loading internet pages, and loading the camera faster. proven by 5s vs s5 tests. iphone scored much better then the super struggling galaxy s5.
