http://youtu.be/lqkun-yZ9fo maybe you see the difference now? Or do you think that game runs with same fps the whole video?

AnonD-1825, 13 Sep 2014"No wonder it can achieve better fps, the GPU has much... moreThe Galaxy Alpha has a powerful processor for its resolution. Yes, it is not as powerful as the one in a Note4 for example, but enough to top the benchmark charts. It was the first in most charts. What are you talking about? Also, how do you know it is laggy, fanboy? It has just been released yesterday in the UK. Have you already tested it? He was right, of course the iPhone had better scores with that under-HD resolution. The GPU had less pixels to control. Now, with ”all” their ”improvements” in the A8, with over HD resolution it simply is much under a 7 month-old phone, the S5. Imagine it compared with the Note4. No, wait, imagine the Plus compared with the Note4. With FullHD it will simply suck if its processor is the same as this one^.

So, Apple is giving up even on GPU performance, the only plus it had over the others in terms of performance?

Anonym, 13 Sep 20141) That has nothing to do with interface lag, thats lower/h... moreI totally agree with you that android devices don't "FLY" like its nemesis is. But people are still buying these flightless birds since Apple doesn't provide any cheaper alternatives. Now, I believe that everybody should choose based on their preferences but it became a sad thing when they religiously believe the "larger incompatible wings" are more important than the flight experience itself. Even sadder is when they think they're the smarter ones.

adding to that selecting the extreme high detail settings on Android (which can also run on a PC with a full fledged GPU) is far from being a fair comparison.
You would quickly realize not just how biased those comparisons are but also how dumb the poster of those videos thinks you are.

Samsung did that, unluckily for you here is galaxy alpha http://youtu.be/3_48V8YQvI4 nope not flying, still laggy, whats your excuse now? :D
By the way im not sure if its good thing that you admit that android devices have underpowered GPU to handle its screen resolution :) we all know that but saying it loud, not good.
Lets see next week how iPhone 6 handle these ;) i bet its buttery smooth like everything.

2) You are comparing phones which sport Full HD screens (Androids) vs a phone whose screen isn't even (technically) HD.

AnonD-306773, 13 Sep 2014i dont see any difference... maybe someone who owns any of ... moreHow can you then talk about performance if you cant even notice obvious difference? :D
Maybe you should just then look this video and listen what this guy says about the performance if you really cant see how big the difference is with s5 and 5s http://youtu.be/SF0TGLQhqN4
Finally android users can get that kind of performance from bigger screen by buying iPhone 6, good for them, i dont think they want to play those laggy games anymore.
