lol people , you think galaxy zoom has a chance agaisnt this , it has the same sony senosr with rx100 and qx100 , not even lumia 1020 and 808 have a cahnce against this cameraphone.but the problem , price is too high and it looks like a camera with phone functions.so it wont create an effect.

The display of this thing is so optimal for me, 4.7 inch 1080p, thats just so exactly perfect (i see no need for 1080p phones to be 5 inch and up). Hopefully its made by Sharp so it will be every bit as good as the display of HTC One M7. But will i buy one? Nah, i dont need THAT perfect photos but i do need a flash...

No xenon flash I see. Could be a handicap for a camera centric smartphone pitted against Galaxy zoom and Lumia 1020. Except if the sensor can save the day.

Carlos, 15 Sep 2014It seems very good, but it's TOO expensive!Can you direct us to any alternatives at a lower price? For the quality of this i think its cheap, a high end phone easily cost 600 to 650 euro and you cant find a 1 inch camera for 300.

Ferraris are not pitted against Toyota family wagons, for good reasons. This one need to be pitted against higher end compact cameras and the QX100, and throw in the Lumia 1020 as well and i think this thing will win.

Panasonic is awesome, not my type of phone but i bet it will destroy the galaxy zoom. I hope panasonic starts to make phones. They have high quality products, or most of it is.

Looks 10x better than the galaxy zoom, plus its all about the Sensor so picture quality wise, it will blow away all competition.

I think the price is good, a Leica aspheric lens is not the cheapest option for sure, and a 1 inch sensor, thats just wow, thats the same as RX100 series has, and the QX100 as well.
This one may very well outperform QX100 in pure photo quality, the lack of zoom is of course a concern but it sure as F keeps dimensions in check.
