The reason why sony loses some of its fan is its poor update in their mid range phones. They suck at updating.
people buy smartphones because they want to have the latest android at least.

Maybe because they insist in getting behind the times regarding SoC wise? They using a S801 on the Z3 is the sign of greediness that Sony is currently in, downgrading battery, recycling the same camera module in 3 consecutive modules (Don't come with bs that it now has iso 12800 as it probably was already capable of that before this is just planned obsolesce right from the start.) all in all they are being lazy, the Z3 should have gotten a S805, you know just like the Note 4 that was released at the same time.

The problem lies in the pricing and they seriously didn't improve the camera. When apple's using sony sensors and giving good results why can't sony do the same.
Actually sony should be the one with the best camera phone tag considering its experience in camera department.hats of to nokia for it's tech in camera. Had nokia been there in Android from early it would have been GAME OVER for the others.
Sony needs to improve in two areas seriously
1 Bring out some camera tech which will be ahead of time and unbeatable like Nokia.
2 UI is too simple why not buy a nexus instead.

Yeah experia z1 was nice but than z1s z2 and now z3 . Same camera and everything only slight changes. And almost all sony phones look alike so people get boored and buys sammy or Huawei

Exactly! The strategy is good for quick improvement in previous version, but as you said the owner feels cheated and you don't have to wait long enough for a new flagship.

Bcoz Sony Dosen't Update Midrange to Kitkat!! i have Xperia C and SP, great phones! but No KITKAT and no support or update for BUGS!!! i sell them and buy HUAWEI with KitkaT and very good support!

Sony, We know you are making great products. I am still using W700 phone @home which I bought on 2006. It is still giving 2 days battery life (Only calls). Please change your 1 GB ram strategy to 2 or 2+. Please use removable battery. So that I can also think of buying one.

Wow it looks like you're having a great time with your Z2 good for you the Z2 really is a solid phone. You really be having a hard time looking for a reason NOT to like the Z2. While I myself is content with my Note 3, my dad just upgraded to Z2 from his old faithful Note 2. And one thing he really like is the battery life. The Z2 managed to outdo the Note 2, granted his Note 2 is filled with the bloatwares and the crapwares and all the little things my dad 'collected' over the years of owning it. What I like (and hate) about the Z2, or Sony in general is that they always keep the user experience simple and out-of-the-box. Samsung on the other hand is much more complicated and loves to shove us with its own bloatwares and little tricks that would actually be nice if they don't suck on the battery as much. I especially despise ChatOn and Samsung App stores (almost as much as I hate Mobogenie app store but that's a different story). The Z3 is only a slight update from the Z2, which is also a slight update from the Z1, which is a bummer, but that's just about it. So many plus point and just one negative. You can't hate the Z2.
