Email is the more convenient way of sending files, not BT. I used to utilize BT file transfer when I had my N95, only because it was a pain to email using the N95, but not with the iphone.

There's no piracy in sending photos with your iphone. So what are you talking about? Having BT on phones, tends to encourage piracy to most, if not all, people who has BT file transfer capabilities on their phones. If you're smart, you would know what I am talking about. Obviously you're not =)

Anonymous, 23 Jun 2009see what you have done? Bluetooth is very important you ... moreI think BT is important to people with phones that cannot email. But for iphone owners, it's not essential for us because we can email. If you require BT on your phone, then suit yourself, but don't make it seem like everyone needs it like you do because there are people who don't. If BT, is so important to you, don't even bother with the iphone. Go get a Nokia, Samsung or LG. Promise, we won't be bitter about it =)

Anonymous, 23 Jun 2009Nice thought about the photo (Hmmm are you a female?), but ... morePart of the iphone's plan is unlimited email. Iphone will not work in your country Croatia. So why are you here? The iphone is for countries with internet access at their fingertips. Iphone or any smartphones will not work well in your country. And as you have said, you have friends who don't even have computers. So I understand your predicament. But I am sorry, but in some countries, email is more practical. We don't have to travel to another city just so you can BT a photo to me. We can email. As for piracy, people would still find a way to do it, but it's kind of nice to know that there are company's like Apple who DISCOURAGES it by omitting features that would lead people to practice such. Every iphone user I know uses their iphone to email and to send SMS and are ok with its soft keyboard, I could care less for your silly friend who bought an iphone and not use it to email. Also, w/ 3.0 update, you can type on landscape mode in writing emails and SMS.

Anonymous, 23 Jun 2009Allow me to share my 2 most recent case in terms of BT tran... moreLet us look at your silly scenarios, shall we?

"Case 1 - I was with my wife and we took a shot together at a shopping mall. Soon we realize something went wrong with her iphone and she wanted to take into service." Now why would something go wrong with her iphone? LOL. Even if your wife had a different phone with BT, how can she BT the file when something already went wrong with her phone? LOL.

Don't get me wrong either. I think BT is nice to have as well, but it's feature that I can live without just fine on my iphone because I have a BETTER alternative.

"Case 2 - I had lunch with my colleague last week. She forgot to bring her phone and she used my Moto Zn5 for photo taking. After we returned to office, I simply sent the photo back to her phone via BT. No e-mail was necessary. (many companies like mine don't allow personal e-mail login) Sorry, my phone doesn't exactly have access to e-mail (actually on roaming), so did BT transfer prove to be important?"

Does your colleague take photos every lunch time or what? LOL. Well let me add to your scenario then. Your colleague did forget her phone, but then she wants to put a subject on the photo and make some comments and need to send it right away to her bf in Mexico who is in front of a laptop RIGHT NOW. Your Zn5 does not have a data plan, so she ended up using my iphone so she can email her photo to her bf in Mexico =) Your BT seems to be useless in that scenario.

"And out of the BT topic a bit. This weekend I encountered another incident which I found a "treasure" in my mom's house. I video called my brother and shared my joy immediately. I wanted to video call my wife immediately, only her iphone doesn't support video call." Ummm hello, a simple phone call will do. Why would your brother need to see you face? LOL. REALISTICALLY, your scenario does not happen =) Want video calls? Try YM on your laptop if you own one. It's better and it's free =) And it's PRACTICAL. And you can video call as many times as you want, not just several times a year.

"Last summer I visited my grandma (who lived far away from mom, and mom isn't exactly in good shape to flyover to see her mom in person) and I video called my mom...again, my mom probably uses video call less than 1% of the time, but when I saw tears from her eyes when she saw her mom..." Again, use a laptop. Video quality on video calls are not even good and choppy. It's IMPRACTICAL. It's more practical to use a laptop on video calls. But then, you are an impractical person, so suit yourself =)

Anonymous, 23 Jun 2009your argument is lame, who said i wanted to transfer to 30 ... moreYeah, you didn't say 30 people, you said EVERYONE IN THE CLUB, lol. As for video files with the size of 10mb, I don't think that would be any problem to email at all. How long does it take for you to BT a 10mb file to another phone? LOL. You are so obsessed with your BT that you become impractical, lol. And yes, I am enjoying my iphone, and it's not just it's email that I am enjoying, but the many other apps that I've uploaded. And what is your basis in saying that the iphone is old technology? Missing BT? LOL. And why would I come to England? Just to see you bluetoothing your life away? LOL. Unlike you sir, I do not have to travel so I can transfer a file through BT, I can email, LOL. And this has nothing to do whether you are from the US or England. It's about PRACTICALITY. You lost =)

I tested its speeds with my carrier and with the wifi and there was no difference.
And my 16gb actually loaded a youtube faster with every test.
So im very dissapointed camera quality is slitly better not a whole lot though. all in all not worth it....

if someone lets me know, i`m gonna get on the phone to 02 and order the 32GB version in black right now!

                        Guys,

                        it's me again.

This time, I won't be offending any iphone user or any other phone user. and I'm sorry if I offend any iphone user by my post. iPhone is a *great* phone. When it come out it could sell a lot because there were a market that has no other manufacture fill it (multi touch market with beautiful OS). Unfortunately, it's not a one device concur all market. it's only a device that could sell a lot and create a great hype. FYI, the most sold cellular device on the third rock from the Sun is not iphone.

Ok, so where did iphone failed? As I mention, the BT is premature, no MMS support, iTunes were not democratic, there only 1 devices, no lower specs for poorer user, no other design than the iphone design.... If apple could fix this. I believe iPhone could get more Users.

                        So,
I really hope iphone user would not be angry with me. iphone is great, but it still have lots of drawback. It could sell a lot just because no one have the device to compare with. NOW with Samsung omnia HD come out, SE satio, Nokia N97 and Palm pre, iphone just about to go on the dog fight with others. If iphone really great they could stay afloat on this cellular business.

But 1 thing for sure. Nokia as the market leader right now, won't easily give up to apple. If you watch top 10 device being sold each month. Nokia always have 2-5 device on top 10. That's the things really matter. Nokia might have lost a couple of battle, but in the long run, the one who's winning the war is really matter.

                        Cheersss

when omnia hd fans comment something about N97, as nasty as it sound, I kinda able to see their ground, being better specs than N97. altough they have their own issue like audio quality, etc. But the story is totally different when isheep come trashing at beatiful N97 garden. Your comment against N97 is so illogical and full of brand fanatics rather than the real specs. If Isheeps said they would rather buy camera digital than to make photo from handphone because the quality can't be as good.. LOL.. I'm truly feel sorry for them. you can be so defensive than just to admit it.. I know there's a lot of application and good touchscreen, but that's not justified so many basic flaws iphone has. and with this kind of specs you dare moowing the phone which is clearly have so many specs above you is total blindness of misleading isheep. Apple shuld've been so proud with you herds.
