what is the built quality of this phone??
is the ring tones loud enough?
how about the vibration??>>can we realise that the phone is ringing if its in the pocket and its in vibe mode??
how long does the battry last??

as an active eBay seller I am planning to get a phone that has the following: bright torch/flashlight & good-volume FM radio, a shortcut key to creating messages, and has a loudspeaker mode when talking. I want a phone as durable as the old 1110 and if possible has a dedicated key for spoken time like the 1110. I don't need a camera, bluetooth, infrared, wifi, java-enabled phone (I want a phone not a plaything).
I went to SM manila (a mall) and found a nokia 1661 selling for 2,200 pesos only..then side-by-side the store is also selling a nokia 1662 for the same price. saleslady said that basically both are the same except that the keypad layout is different: the 1662 keypad is reminiscent of the keypad layout of the 1200's series: single pad that seems to be dust- & watersplash-resistant.
any of you guys own the 1662 (said to be an updated design of 1661) and does it have the same capabilities of 1661 like good-volume FM radio and flashlight as well as long battery life? and to my fellow "kababayans" where can I purchase nokia phones that are 'original' and not 'class A' (I don't wanna be duped into buying imitation ones) here in the philippines, with an NTC-approved sticker?

Nokia time by time its getting WORST product.
From Finland to "Made by Nokia" and Made in China now.
Better I buy a China product directly such as ZTE, Nexian, HT Mobile, etc.etc.

Front side plate is like mirror finish and looks awesome,
Back side is just good,
New type torch comparing to previous nokia models,
the light is in ------ this shape,like a line so it
spreads.
the screen is pretty good and big for its cost comparing other models in its price line.
the Battery backup is solid,
the buttons looks sexy
but FM is not so good
last line : buy this if you are looking for below 2000rs models.hard to beat.

I'm using it as a secondary phone from the past one month. It's a Bull-Shit phone. The build quality is very low as if you're using a cheap Chinese phone. Problem during call as our voice gets interrupted when we speak with other party. Loudspeaker when On vibrates the phone. Don't buy it.
