I have bought 2610 just yesterday (the Indian version)- and looks like it is upto my expectations. The ability to configure and associate "my shortcuts" with the 4-way navigation keys is something I liked (this may not be new to you as it is to me, since my previous mobile is nearly 4 years old).
I was able to associate each of the "Missed Calls", "Received Calls", and "Contact List (Names)" etc with the "my shortcuts", but I could not find a way to associate the "Dialed Calls" with "my shortcuts" - so the only way I can get to the "Dialed Call" list is by navigating the "Call Log" menu - did I miss something (you know it's been only a day since I bought it). "Dialed Calls" is one thing I think anyone would want to have a quick access to - so it surprises me to know that they have not thought about it. Is any Nokia person listening?
As a next step I want to connect this mobile to the computer and see what I can do it with this (addressbook backup being one of the things I hope to be able to). Had anyone done this? Please let me know on the right cables and s/W to do so.

Is a very nice phone. I've bought it with 105$ and i like it. I've downloaded mp3's via wap. The sound is ok, a very slightly phone, works perfect. I recommend to all, to download for internet. Is more easy and fast.This phone is not the smartest but is really nice. Mine is black and on gsmarena say that are just 2 colors, they are more than 2 i saw 4. Thank you

My nokia 2610 doesnt display the callers number. Is this standard or am i missing an option somewhere? Please respond to this post :)

why didnt nokia include a FM on this 2610? I mean, 2310's screen is just too small... If only they somehow combined both phones together...

Very cool handphone! At getjar.com you can find java software for this phone. I download it via WAP and it works really good! I'll buy the FBUS cable (ca-45) and then I'm going to tell how it works...
Highly recommended! I paid just U$D 40 for it, brand new.. ;-)

from here http://www.logomanager.co.uk/php/products.php?id=51 u can downlaod the software named...MobiMB n u need to get a serial cable...not data cable ok....serial cable named FBUS cable will work with it..

the people who say that this is not a good model, i think they dont deserve to have a cell fone. its easy to buy and easy to use..

u can put mp3's on this phone. it's true that the memory is short but if u cut a song u can fit in about 4 songs. u can do it via a usb cable that costs around 11$

The gprs must be a hoax. in the settings it shows but is not connecting. Thats why its blank.

Bought 1 around 2 weeks ago. Original battery can even last 2 days compare to my previous Nokia phone.
