hey, the ringtones seems to be in increasing mode even though it is in ringing mode.... Usually, the sound fades in..... How do u make the thing to be like normal so that the sound won't fade in.....?

I bought the 2610 some weks ago. This phone has a VERY long standby time of 2 weeks (!!!) so that i sometimes have to guess where i put the the charger, excellent speech quality, the software is very easy to use and absolutely fast enough for me, messaging is fast, phone book is absolutely one of the best. And the handset is CHEAP! And the looks are great (mine is black). I love this phone! Will have it for a long time. 10 points out of 10! And DON'T complain that it has no USB connector, no MP3-Player (though MP3 ringtones via download are supported) and no camera - if you buy this phone, you know in advance that this is a very basic and simple phone (compared to all the "toys" out there)! Visit www.nokia.com and read the specifications, assuming that y'all can read ;-)

I bought it one month ago in thailand,pattaya,amorngroup shop.it has very nice design ,good size,cheap.i love it too much

very very sexi,cheap,very good menu,but i dont khow why nokia corp dont think about saving date and time after removing its battery for some minutes

Hey, if your applications folder is empty, you have to ask the guy you bought the phone to. Mine for example, had the coin "crap" flip game plus a very cool flipper game, that nokia claims the pohne to have. Please, read my post below and tell me if you have the same problemas than i do...

I would like to start by thanking you for introducing this phone (2610) into the market.I have one and i am very happy of it ,but i have a little problem that i have encoutered while using it .The problem is in the Application menu .my phone has it but the options that are there Games & collection are all empty .Now please kindly advice me on what to do .

well i liked the outlay of this phone & not only that it is also economical but it dosent hav any fm /camera in it which makes the phone not so adorable

Well i have this phone in a hurry cause my Nokia 3210 have fail me, I phone is nice, just is what i need a phone with a MP3 player, nothings else because i don;t need feature like the camera, so why should i pay for those feature that i'm not going to use, but this phone is said to be MP3 phone, but its small memory size and don;t have any other ways to download mp3 into the phone really kill its purpose. I wish nokia didn't make any phone that they don;t want to support.

I hope so. but i´ve searched inside nokia´s website but i coultnd find any software upgrade. I don´t really know. Anyone knows?

I am having the same problem too :-
1. No difference with/without power/sleep mode.
2. No control of backlight time.
3. slow response time.
I was wondering if there is a software upgrade that might solve some of this problems.

Hello friends, i am writing from Argentina and I have a question for you, maybe you can help me.
I own a Nokia 2610 and have noticed the following bugs(?).
1) No matter if you turn off "power saver" or "sleep mode", the screen will always go black (so as to save energy, i suppose) and there is no control over the time you want it to go black (at least i couldnt find it).
2) In standby screen configuration there is a missing menu between "power saver" and "sleep mode". (look at the numbers at the top right corner of the screen when you scroll down and you will see jumping from 3 to 5). I wonder what is missing there.
3) The pone by itself has a low response time. I mean that if you write a little bit too fast, numbers or characters have a small delay from the time you pressed the key and the moment it appears on screen, this can be VERY Annoying if you write fast. I guess the processor is too slow.
Well, thank you my friends and check what i have wrote above. Maqybe you have the same problems, maybe not. Please tell me, I really want to know if my phone is buggy or all of them are.

i bought 2610(Black) week ago. i'm really satisfied with its design.Amazing!its lika a mix of SE t630 and N6230. but there are some ass itching bugs in this fone. when i change the color themes all my ringtones goes to Nokia Tune and the screensaver digital clock change itself to a waving flag.. aand you should do your tone settings again and again every time you change the color themes.. second problem is web connectivity. my set seems to have gprs v.6 but doesn't have csd.. aand if you are in bulgaria you should subscribe gprs using wap csd.. its stupid but if you cant use wap csd you cant use gprs too

-good color display
-its ringtones are not loud enough but if you download mp3 ringtones they will be very loud
disadvantages:
-its vibration is weak
-its software is a bit slow and gets hang sometimes
-its call alert when someone calls you remains ascending although it is set on ringing
so my advice is to stay away from this phone !!!

its look like good.but the mobile functioing not at all good.friends i wish u dont buy this mobile go and with some other else.because i am fed with with this mobile
