yes, i am using a kingston micro sd. size is 1 gb and i have no problems. it works perfectly. maybe some users improperly installed their memory cards and they are now experiencing problems. also, reformat the card first in your phone before use. actually if you can afford to buy orginal nokia then choose nokia but if you wanted same performance at lower cost choose kingston.

nokia 3110c has this nokia av connector which is 2.5 mm jack. i just do not know whether it can support other headphones because the headset is already provided in the package and needed to activate the fm function because the headset also serves as the antenna. the stock headset i may is of average quality anyway. a little more bass and it will sound like se's mega bass. you can change the equalizer and wide-stereo enhancer in the phone. but then maybe it can support other headphones because of the 2.5 mm jack and choose better headphones for better listening pleasure.

Hi again! I just would like to ask, are you running a "Kingston" micro sd card right now? If yes, what mem0ry size? Are you experiencing problems? I'm afraid to use Kingston 'c0z s0meb0dy complained about restarting and hang problems. Maybe I should buy forcibly the original Nokia micro sd.

Wow! Nokia has done it again! I really like this Nokia 3110c. Spend less and everything is there! It has a complete range of features from a 1.3megapixel camera to a mp3 & mp4 player and a stereo fm radio, what more could you wish for?.. I was really really disappointed with SAMSUNG actually because they are too expensive (here in the Philippines) and yet you only get limited features? Another thing, in other countries, SAMSUNG mobile phones are given for free but then here in the Philippines it's too expensive?! How unfair!! I even crave and wish that I could own a SAMSUNG mobile phone before because it's a nice brand, but now, I never liked them anymore... Heads and chin up for NOKIA!!

good mob for cheap price!1 its 1.3 MP camera ok, but its internal memory could have been increased

i bought this phone a month ago it was amazing, i cam use it as a mobile phone, MP3 and MP4 playing audio and video
the only problem was its relatively low sound but is is not an important thing i can use vibration with ring signal
8 days ago i bought 1GB Kingstone MicroSD memory card and i started loading it with audio and videos
2 days ago the whole story began, when i tried to open the memory card the mobile restarted and restarted until it shutdown
and i wouldn't work until i removed the memory, i went to nokia store and asked for update so i am now waiting for the result

I bought nokia3110classic mobile.
I havent yet got a memory card, now i decided to buy a memory card. But I have a great confusion, that is which memory card is better choice for this mobile?
Please, help me which one is perfect choice?
If i can use 1gb memory card, any problem will occur?
i am live in india.
Please help me for the perfect choice.

But the CAMERA is Sooooooo Bad !
I just checked 3 phones at the agent and 2 more units in two other countries.
Photos turn green !

hi
i bought nokia 3110c last month only,mobile gets restarted when i use memory card,without mmc,it works well,the sound quality is not well.for me its useless,,,i will not suggest this mobile for any one...

its a good phone indeed, with so many features in one good-looking phone with low cost compared to other phones.
mini USB upto 2GB (i use this as pen-drive), FM (one of my favorite), Infrared (don't use much), Bluetooth (good, i use this for wireless file transfer & internet while keeping a good speed), Video (not a good quality, but still...), 1.3 MP Camera (quality is fine in day-light), EDGE (good speed for wireless internet, but u have to be under good network), MP3 player (good quality, with m4a format file u can keep the file size small, more than half of the size of an MP3 file)

try to contact your provider or shop were you bought the phone. maybe it has factory defect. firmware upgrade is only for “good working” phones. firmware upgrade is only for software and it cannot fix hardware defects.

there are really soft tones pre-installed but if you use downloaded especially mp3 ringtones you can hear the difference

this is similar to temp file. this is has the same thing (i mean oppositely) for example of hard disk or memory card that even your capacity is 1gb, actual is lower. after all 20kb consumes a little space.

you can check using your pc suite whether there is a latest version of firmware. for your memory card, try to reformat it on your phone. also try to use other memory cards if it still encounter problems if not , maybe the problem is your memory card and not the phone. hanging maybe a result when the phone cannot write data on the memory card. in this way you can isolate/troubleshoot what causes the problem so that you can fix it.

are you using windows xp (don't know in vista)? if you plug your phone, your os will recognize it. if not, then there is something. have you ever used your motorola cable on a motorola phone with no problem? if yes, then there is something wrong with your phone. check if you properly inserted the cable of your phone.
for your “brightness” question, unfortunately you cannot adjust the screen brightness unlike a motorola phone, i used to own a motorola l6 but then i lost on it in an arcade center. : ( this is helpful for some person who wanted not so bright screen and also battery saving.

hi actualy this set is just mavelouse.i liked it but it dosnt come with a memorycard on it.i usually charge it once after three to four day and it sustain the charge despite vibration and browsing all day long.About the networktivity,its actually perfect.i thank you guys for your innovation keep it up.(from kenya)

I'm posting again after few failed trial with a motorolla usb cable to connect my laptop with 3110c. The PC suit keeps saying "Connect the cable" or the cable is not recongnised. Please help me, thanks

My phone memory shows low. In my ph memory ringtone using 1.5 MB. I cant delete tham. Plz help me !
Any body knows that , as like s60, s40 has any hidden file software (java).??
Moreover in my 512 MB i cant use more than 200MB. Bcz when my file cross tham. It turn slow, hang!! Again when i turn off , turn on ,it do so!!!
Today i store some image in my 3110c vai bluetooth which i took those from N73. But when i go to gellary for showing it turn hang, hang... I never face this kind prbm in past on s60 as like my N70, N73. I think this s40 mobile RAM is low. Any one face this kind prbm like me!
I m using v5.01 firmware . Does any letest version was coming ? Plz replay me !!

can someone tell me why i see 2 white coloured stripes when i apply certain themes...??...the lines are seen near the right and left borders
