One of the worst phones of Nokia..! I had purchased it in 9600 in last year. After completing 15 months of usage, it stopped swtiching on if there is sim card entered into it. I visited to nokia care center where they asked me to change it motherbaord for rs. 5,137..!!

This phone has many defects, in long term, its LCD screen will show dark spots. and its motherboard is very fragile. repairing this cost me a fortune.

I ... moreYou have to first download Nokia Ovi Suite to your pc, connect your phone with a USB cable, then do a full backup so you dont lose anything.
Then you have different methods but the best will be a Hard Reset. That is, holding + + + PowerOn.
There you will have your phone with a factory reset, you just need to restore your backup with Nokia Ovi Suite and you're done!

Dis Mobile Was Purchased By My Wife As A B'day Gift 4 Me In '11.. At 1st Mobile Use 2 Hang n Irritated A Lot.. But Later Wen Upgraded 2 Belle It Was Very Nice.. Had No Prblm Til Now.. Looks Even Sexy Too.. Tanq U Darling...!

i bought nokia 500 5 months ago.it is quiet well.but sometimes it hangs and when i start mobile data it often need a restart.it has no 3d gpu so i cant play hd game else prince of parsia and aspalt 4.camera is ok in daylight but at night or dasj nothing is

Bad phone from NOKIA, phone is not responding with the sim after 1.5 years, it is only starting in offline mode, my phone is only music player now lol, customer care said that the problem is with motherboard chip, which is pasted and cannot be replaced.
I will never buy nokia again.

This phone is superb!!!! Excellent browsing even with 2g network speed ! After the latest update , it rarely hangs :-) .... According to its price , it's ultimate....
