Hi I am from India. Today a device update, version 011.033 was made available for Nokia 500. The size of the update was about 1.8 Mb. I installed it and I hope this will fix the restarting and memory card issues.

truth this phone is one of the best that everything is brought out very fast nokia clarity of sound in headphones and calls is the best because it comes with the Symbian anna and a 1Ghz processor ...
Compared to the c5-03 I'll take the 500

guys please don't buy this mobile. its not a worthy mobile. and the hidden main drawback is NO FLASH ..
its sucks ... better to go with new C5

Dear Friends,
to avoid restarting problem use phone with one Home Screen only,,,
and the display is not dark , but its the Light Sensor who controls the brightness ,, to use phone with full brightness download DzSoft Lightbar and turn off light sensor,,
Download DzSoft Lightbar = adf[dot]ly/3uq00
on full brightness display looks much Crisp and Punchy with Vibrant colors ,it just looks awesome.
