Hi,
I liked the set. Overall its a good one.
I got a net connection. Now, whenever I click on OVI store, it displays, [Welcome to the Nokia store... Nokia store didn't launch? Click "Launch" below, followed by a button "Launch".] If I click "Launch" button also same page displayed. The version of OVI store is 2.08.042. Please help.

I bought the mobile sterday...intially it restarted while browsing but after the sw update of version 10.31 its almost solved.try to exit the application after working on it...battery life and speaker sound are the problems wth this mble...nokia 500 will work efficiently after the symbian belle update hope sooo...

I just bought this 2days ago. I started to download games like Fruit Ninja but It won't start. It just turn into dark screen then go back to applications menu. Does anybody know how to fix this?

hey guys this is 1st time i am writing against nokia but it is true first this phone does not have gpu restarting problem is common like nokia 3110c every 9 out of 10 has restarting hanging problem if you are wanting to buy a nokia phone then go for nokia c5-03 my brother is using it for almost 1 year and samsung androids will only show off apps in it but no phone is above 240*320 pixels so you wont be able to play good resolution games

I've been using this phone for a week now and it's battery life's kinda low. I have to charge it everyday. Help. :(

A much as I have gotten used to this phone, I believe that we should demand for a software update immediately. How can Nokia allow this phone to go on sale when it has a restarting problem? And oh yeah, please make this feel like a 1ghz processor. It just lags like crazy.

hi all,
Nokia 500 is most worst mobile in this price.this set have following problems which i found during 4 week of use and not find any recovery even after re- installation of softwares-
1- it hangs and restatrs at least 3 times during a day.
2- Most times camera doesnt open and shows notice 'memory full close some application' although all applications are closed. to open camere in that case you have to restart mobile.
3-internet connection remains undidected and shows notice 'connection failed'.although same sim card runs fast internet in other mobiles at thae same place.(first most irritating part)
4-Flash player 4.0 is very poor and single you tube video of 2.0 Mb takes 15 to 30 minutes to run.(second most irritating part.
5-batery is poor and you have to charge mobile 2 to 3 times a day.
6- some times on zooming the photo, images remains blurred.
7-3D games are not supported and other games ask for internet connection each time you open them.
Nokia is good company but not in case of smart phones. so avoid to buy smart phone of nokia and go for Android phones of good company.

I did not find option to copy the files from this mobile to others (mobiles or comp) using blue tooth.:(
