nokia 5310 is way better than 5220,, the 5310s allow up to 4gb or 8gb microSD while this one only up to 2gb

Can anyone tell me if this phone has the features when receiving msg on this phone the name of the sender will appear on the mesg itself like the 5310???

i guess nothing beats the good old nokia 5300 XpressMusic phone. i had it for 1.5 yrs and had gone through rough use, it still works like new. musics great no jumps and java works well and i have tons of games. i also use a kingston 2gb card. no other new XpressMusic phones could beat teh durability and reliability of the 5300. but now ive upgraded to a new N78. lovin it. bye! :)5300 rocks

i like the features of this 5220 express music phone.
i like the desine of this hendset. & clearity of pictures.

Operamini does not work in s40 phones,
a... moresekar opera mini works in this phone flawlessly, yes it belongs to the family of s40 but it already in 5th generation i should say,
the resolution under the sunlight turned out this phone its much like SE k700i but still you can find an angle in this situation...
well if your complaining about the display of this phone you can always change the default display by downloading some themes since this phone is new you can find few themes in the net but alwayz account that it belongs to the family of s40 so the themes of its older brothers like 5200 and 5300 can be used in this phone but some details may not work well...
its not a perfect phone but its a practical one very affordable and featured pack...

guys let me give you some tips:
>if you are tired of creating play list cuz' you got plenty songs on your fone, its not really a problem all you need to do is use your computer and create a folder then put all your songs that you want to play then you can now browse it in your gallery and automatically it plays all the song in that folder...(i got 1000+ songs and i sync them by genra)
>how to save battery? well all you need to do is use the flight mode when you are using the music player... it helps extend your battery life...
>when charging turn off your fone not only it charges fast but you also help your battery to have longer life...
>alwayz empty your message log and the message recipient log to avoid txt jam...
this is really a good phone it caters all my needs as a student, yahoo search is helpful and java application works well like dictionary, bible and mobile math as for example...
i really dont need 3G and wifi cuz' in our country its very extravagant to use video call and wifi availability are limited only in some shopping mall...
how is that i am only a student and all i can afford is the use of GPRS and this fone rocks it... and also the thing called GPS its not really practical to use that feature since it dont cover a large area and youll pay the price for using it...
so i therefore conclude that 3G and GPS are intended to those who are wealthy and business minded person only... (dont get me wrong its just my opinion)

Anonymous, 03 Sep 2008phone is great!! but need info on how to troubleshoot the m... moretry shifting all the photos, videos, audio files, mp3s etc from the gallery (phone memory) to the card memory. Check memory status of both phone and card before and after doing this.

Hi, everyone....
Operamini does not work in s40 phones,
also s40 phones have blue colour as default themes, so the screen is not visible in sunlight,
the gallery is boring and defies imagination........

its a nice stylish n easy to carry set, but the main problem which i faced is its voice quality, i mean its really slower than many of the other phones of nearly same range...rest its a very nice gadget.
