for those complaining about battery life, could you post where your phones were manufactured? because mine was made in china and i get around 2-3 days with heavy usage as a music player and i'm not even using flight mode!

Wrong changing cause a short batery life,ur cp has memory to det. Whether ur bat. Was fuly charge or not.4 example u hav left a 1 bar 4 ur bat. Then u charge ur cp,this wil coz short bat. Life,charge ur cp when it is fuly drain that is the sol'n.

the unit is good but battery life sucks! eventhough i was able to update the firmwate to v05.20,still it doesn't last more than 24 hours even i don't play music a lot..

I think this is rather low for this phone and even more considering this battery is 1050mah. But maybe that's because I have a week with this phone, I hope with the time my battery last longer

this phone is ok , not that much gud
y bcoz when ever we r using blutooth it easily stuck
and it will take some time to recover and even some times normally also it used to stuck this is the main problem with this .

If any one can explain the battery back up of 5220 Exp Music.
Pls tell me diff btwn 4.00 & 4.86 which is better & which will give more battery lasting.

edward, 13 Jan 2009im thinking of updating my nokia 5220's firmware, but im sc... moreI updated firmware to 4.86 a while ago and nothing was erased from the phone memory or memory card, nor a single setting was changed. I say it's a pretty safe operation, but backup with Nokia PC Suite so you can feel more comfortable.

And also, if i will update my firmware, should i take out d memory card? Will the updating erase files like messages, themes, contacts and the like? Thnx!

Trilok, 12 Jan 2009what about battery backupok but not very good. if im using only to make/answer calls, it stands for max 3 days.If music and other stuffs used then gets sucked up very fast.
