5230 is a great phone. the browsing speed is amazingly good on Tata Docomo. Now i've bought a BSNL 3G connection but they say this phone hasn't been added to their list of 3G phones and this may take some time to enable 3G service on my phone. Otherwise the phone is great. All the features of Apple 3G at one fourth the price. but there are few minor hitches like the orientation sensor which takes some time to switch from potrait to landscape & sometimes chenges orientation when not required. But it can be ignored considering the price & rich features list.
So good was the features & price that an ardant Sony Ericcson fan like me is now addicted to 5230.
So look not further; go ahead & buy it along with a good scratch guard. buy it at mobile store as they are offering a very competitive price & and additional year warrenty (their own) for Rs. 100 extra. Suggest it to your friends too.

friends got this pone 2 weeks back. Lovely phone. I am loving it everyday.
Only one problem: Sometimes it doesnt vibrate when someone calls me. This happens only on the silent mode. If i restart the phone the problem gets solved.

when i go online there is a notification shown "new update available".. so when i try to update the version than the notice came out shows "no update available".. im so confused... @_@
