Just bought this one from Vodafone. Looks very nice and I'm very happy. I won't vote it now.. cause I just received it, but I'll come back with specifications + vote after 2-3 months of utilization.
At first look it's a great phone... and I was simply suprprised to see so nice quality on a 2MP camera.

Nokia 5230 has it all you want in a phone! Except it doesnt have a flash and only 2mp cam but its clear and good! I rate this phone... PERFECT!

ROM : Read-only memory is fixed memory that contain all the necessary programming codes, firmware etc.

Hi guys,myself Victor. I wanted to whether it has "NIGHT MODE" Option in Camera. If it doesn't hv this then taking pictures and doing video recording at nite time would give a very very poor result. Plz give me a feedback

hey! I am a proud owner of nokia 5230. I have bought it around 3 months ago and stil its stil running smooth. This phones sensitivity of the screen is almost upto N 97..yes its much better than 5800..i have used that as wel also. This phone can open up to 6 applications at once without stucking. All i could find that time was 6,maybe it can open more.yes applictions for this phone is hard to find but you can visit www.mobile9.com or www.zedge.com for some applications.and also get the applications for 5800 and instal.answer continue in the setup where it says this software i not comptible with your phone.also check waptrick.com and wapkig.com from your phone.if your a gamer and wantx some games go to waptrack.com and select what you want.eg- ubisoft games,gameloft games.sometimes Gps uses gprs to download the map.you could manualy download your countries map and install it to your phone.you can get your countries map from nokia ovi maps. Or you can install google maps and get gps directions. Remember to upgrade your phone to get beter reaults.. If you have more questions write to me maliththeone@gmail.com..
