And Can I download or use... moreNo, Google Earth is for Windows Desktop OSes probably for Linux or Mac also, but I don't think that Google Earth could run on Symbian phones. But there is another software from Google called Google Maps. Its a JAVA based application that you can download on your phone.

Google Maps also has a feature that'll show you the "Satellite View" much like Google Earth on a small screen.

I'm not sure if Dhaka has turn by turn navigation support or not. You can find on the Nokia site about it.

Its a good locking cell phone. Its cofigutations are good.I personelly like it.

SR, 08 Feb 2010For a locked phone doesn't people have to pay more every mo... moreNo u pay 229e and u get locked phone with free prepaid sim card! it is tmobile brand and u can use it just with tmobile sim card! u can buy that phone with contract too then u pay just 1 euro,but u get contract on 18 mounths and sure u pay every mounth around 25e! but u have free minutes,sms and internet i think! when 18 mounths past u can cut that number and naturaly keep using that phone! but every phone u buy there its locked,sure u can unlock it but its not good to do that and u lose warranty!

There is a ve... moreHey SR! i dont know where is he from (maybe croatia or macedonia) but here in my cauntry (montenegro) price of pulse in tmobile store is 229e! sure its locked! and for 5230 i paid 220e! its 9 euros difference! so that must be the reason why he compare this two phones! u must understand that price of this phone (5230) is not same everywere!

hiiiiiiii guys i am very desperately waiting for nokia 5230 since it was announced by nokia but i have decided to wait and let other people buy this and let know about this phone it had been about 6 months for me reading all persons review and even i have read out each and evry comment about this fone .......... i am very much impressed by this phone features even thigh i have two more better touch screen phone apple iphone 3gs and sony ericsson x1 and both of them are great phones but i now want to experience with nokia even though i have bought nokia n97 but i am highly dissappointed by that and now i have no more budget more then rs.10000 to spend on another fone so i have decided to buy a cheaper smartfone from nokia and this phone really impress me with its specifications ............. but after reading all the posts i have been confused about its speaker quality majority has tell its loudspeaker volume is very less even not considerable but i want to check by myself so i went to nokia priority stores and many other mobile stores there but none of them were having this fone instead of it all are telling its production have been stopped and they tell me to try nokoa5233 and that fone i would say really really superb like my previous nokia n97 but i still doubt about the sound quality of this fone ........ and to persons who were having this phone can pls answer my these questions :----
1. can we play games like ashplat 5,gangstar 2, sims 3, need for speed shift and opera 10.1 mobile on this as these games are best i have played on my mobiles and ireally want it on my next phones ....?????
2. yaar pls tell me about its real audio quality on its loudspeaker while playing music because i am great music listener ...... ???????
3. about its camera quality
4. and is this fone is really worth buying ??????
i love se phones most then nokia and then my apple iphone 3gs ...... i really hate samsung phones so pls guys help me out ................................................

I want to say Nokia 5230 doesn't get much power, so we shouldn't thrust much responsibility on it.
I mean what do you expect from a mid segment phone.
Look at what it gives you : An excellent display with good touchscreen, a very capable GPS functionality with voice navigation, a fairly capable (still) camera with good video recording, a very good playback audio quality, smart phone capabilities, motion sensing games etc and all that in a price thats almost a third of Pulse. And it doesn't cut down on other features like HSDPA, 3.5mm audio jack, microSD card expansion, Bluetooth etc.
I agree the browser must have been better but it atleast supports Flash so that is a good thing for such a handset and Symbian means we can use Opera browsers. I think we should go easy with 5230.

Hi,as i said i bought my phone on 7th January 2010 by viewing as many as 20 Reviews and found 5230 is very cheap touch 3G and GSM phone released by Nokia. i thought of buying another phone this month(Feb 1st week) but i cannot get that as many of the retailers are saying Nokia stopped production of 5230 and they are trying to sell 5233. The only main reason behind this is because Nokia 5230 are sold very fast as there are no more pieces available in market and Nokia thought of selling 5233 just for 800rs less than that of 5230. This is because they didnt wanted 5230 to be under production because of its less price which might be a loss for Nokia. Hence they thought to make Nokia 5800 to be sold instead of 5230 and released 5233 discontinuing 5230.
So please try to buy 5230 as soon as possible.

The phone is verygood in its performance, charging is very fast. u can play games and high defenition videos with 100mb also will play smoothly, i didnt feel any hang, if anybody feeling something like tht, plz reset ur phone, if not, upgrade the OS.. i am facing problem with the slide lock(the phone key and screen lock)

I bought the phone for Rs 8200/- at Savitri Market,sec-18 Noida. I do not think its out of production but its stocks might be dwindling. The retailers who do not have it always tried to sell 5233 by saying that 5230 had 'problems' and Nokia have stopped production.
My advise is to try all the stores you can.

how to save sent file via bluetooth in memory card : go to messagong then tap option.after that tap other.then you'll see memory in use,change it to memory card.=)
