Any one plz help me. I m going to but dis phone in couple of dayzz.. I wanted to know weder dis model nokia 5230 has 3G support in it? Coz i read some opinions it says dat dis model 5230 doesnt hav 3G support in it.. Reply ASAP..

you will love this phone!!
actually it is not possible to give good headphone with this range 8500rs so u can buy good one

Hi All,
how is the sounds ouput in Nokia 5230, I heard its not that good, is it a problem of headphone?
can headphone will solve this problem ? or its problem with sound output of a phone ?

I want to appreciate the fact that nokia phones have come of age in nigeria my country i started using nokia phone righ from 10yrs ago & i'm stil using it to day. I love nokia phones so much that i can't use any other phone infact all members of my family are usimg nokia phone i appreciatd the fact that nokia manufacturer meets the choice of the people globally.specification to my knowledge of understanding any good work well done must have continuty in changing of the pattern & style.i want to recomment nokia for their trust confident of their product i here by say nokia well done.

ketan, 24 Jan 2010I am deeply disappointed for buying this phone I bought nok... moreThat does sound a bit disingenuous of Nokia, a bit like selling the 5800 without TV-OUT. They seem to be trying very hard to get back on term with the Iphone, but stunts like this won't help.
Then they go and give away free maps, bizarre decision making.

I am deeply disappointed for buying this phone I bought nokia 5233 for 7.6k inr and it doesnt contain GPS hardware. I am so disappointed over nokia, how can they do that without any information they remove the whole GPS hardware to reduce cost. I fell like throwing the phone away. Even GSM ARENA doesnt contain any thing. So dis appointed over nokia's tactics, for providing customer very little information.

the best phone money can buy....must buy.....without even thinking about any other alternative....for this amount of money, you cant get anything ven close...been using the phone for a three weeks now and everyday falling even more in love with it...can anyone please tell me where can i get good applications for this phone...

And just to let you know 1100 doesn't support any sort of applications not even JAVA.
But yeah you are right that Wi-Fi cannot be installed in your phone through just software, you also need the Wi-Fi antenna. If someone is really interested in Wi-Fi probably you can get an external antenna for 5230 with a supporting software/driver for Symbian.
The reason why Wi-Fi antenna is not included/built-in into 5230 is because Wi-Fi is not a free technology, it belongs to Intel, so including it in devices means paying royalties to Intel which in turn will drive the price up for 5230.
