i m hvin n73..plannin to have 5230..normally in symbian phnes its nt possible to view avi movies..but whn u hv smartmovie player or dvix player intstald it does plays those avi files..y such questions f convertin avi to mp4?

I beg to differ on your post(which is inaccurate)... moreActually it is the Nokia PC suite, Nokia has started rebranding everything to Ovi, like Nokia maps became Ovi maps, the app store is now called ovi store. But it hasn't happened with the PC suite.
What I meant was PC suite.
And about it converting video files it is clearly mentioned in the GSMArena review, "you can use the Nokia PC suite built-in application that automatically converts all kinds of video files to the format and resolution your phone supports."

I try to provide information as correct as possible but due to uncontrollable disturbances in my surrounding some errors creep in.

I beg to differ on your post(which is inaccurate) which states that OVI Suite offers an option to convert Video files into Nokia 5230 compatible one, as i have downloaded it from www.ovi.com (Official site, size 92.5mb) and after installation there is no option for video conversion in it.

Since i have purchased this phone, its getting restart by itself. poor camera quality. sometimes i am facing problem with its vibration mode.

but seriously, consider Samsung STAR or LG Cookie before opting for this one.
(Loudspeaker and In-call voice Quality is really BAD) read gsmarena review!!!

I have just broubht nokia 5230 from lahore pakistan in advancetelecom warrenty @rs.15200/- or 180 us doller it is made from korea and inciude 2gb memory card plectrum stylus and surprisingly a stylus is also included i have just up date firm ware to 11.0.079 but not found still special difference overall a good mobile in this range better than lg cookie star by samsung i have used both.
