I'm talking about audio quality and please don't misunderstand it with the supplied headset quality. The supplied headset is the worst Nokia has ever released.

You just have to go through few flashing guides and follow the given step by step procedures. Even if you screw-up you will still be able to revive your phone on your own by flashing it again. Or you can take it to nokia care(just don't tell them that you tried to flash your phone with a CFW ;-) ) and they'll get your phone up and running in no time and that too for free.
I'm sure making a trip to Nokia care is a lot easier than sending your phone to someone sitting hundreds or thousands of kilometers away.
And if you need any help regarding flashing then we(sb and side included) are always ready to help you out.
Learning to flash is always a good thing. Today Revenge^6 is probably the best CFW available for this phone. 2mrw it could be another one and if you don't know how to flash then you won't be able to upgrade your phone to another CFW say Revenge^7(when it releases) based on latest firmware.

The hanging and restarting problems are software related(corrupted firmware or crappy firmware). The issue can be rectified(in most cases for S60 devices) by flashing or upgrading to a newer firmware.

Yeah.. if at all anything does happen... you(nokia care guys in this case) will be able to flash it back to working condition. Nokia care will do it for free as your phone is still under warranty.
I have flashed Nokia phones(S40, S60V3 & Symbian^1) more than 50 times and not even once have I ever faced a problem(dead phone). But my friend did got a dead phone while updating through NSU once and I had to flash it for him.

When you download software all the data of th software gets stored in phone memory. When we open and use any downloaded software all user data gets stored inside phone.download only those software that you really use.

I know a lot of people who bought computer in home and use it for gaming and watching videos.For them a pc is a dvd player.Same thing happens when they buy a phone like 5233.So,hey girls and girlish boys do not buy 5233.It is for boys and boyish girls.

Learn to flash using phoenix or JAF, and you will never ever worry about your phone going bad due to firmware corruption. This flashing stuff is nothing but the same that nokia personals do in repairing one's mobile in nokia service centers. Thats all they can do, no one can repair a broken phone. So if you learn to flash then you will have the power to revive your phone no matter what happens, provided you don't make a toast out of this phone by inflicting hardware damage.

Look, its very simple. Nokia 5233 is a smartphone which is solely for those who are more interested about softwares or applications as well as mass multimedia support. 5233 is way ahead in the fields of multimedia because of its powerful hardware, software support (being a smartphone)and its amazing high resolution screen. Not to forget the amazing web browsing experience. Well, 3g is missing, but i doubt you might want fast internet. For swift browsing, EDGE is enough for anyone. And besides, whats the use of high speed internet if one doesn't have a good screen to enjoy it or the will to do heavy downloading. I am talking about nokia 5233 vs corby series. Its true that they have a good connectivity package like 3g, gps etc but do you really believe it can come anywhere close to a nokia 5230, which being of the same price provides better screen, better video recording, software support, etc plus 3g and gps. And if you don't want 3g and gps then here we have nokia 5233. If you want a mobile for watching movies, listening to songs through headphones, capturing high quality videos, making the phone's interface one of a kind by tweaking its UI using either CFW or SPB SHELL, then 5233 is what you want. But if you care about good outer looks and ease of use then go for corby. I presume you are going to buy a new mobile, its good you are asking others as it will help you in purchasing a device and not regretting later. I would like you to be little more specific about what you want and write a post about it here. Cause if a smartphone lands in the wrong hands then it becomes a curse rather than a blessing. We are here to make it a blessing by helping people get the most out of their device. One has to have knowledge about smartphones if he or she desires to experience its true strength. We can help you in that. So, be a little generous and write a long list of what you want from your phone. Then only i can give a non biased reply to your questions.

hey. don't u ever compare nokia to samsung.they're lot of differences. only "THE STYLE" wins the battle between nokia and samsung.but in the features and others, nokia wins. others think that samsung is good and better than nokia due to its stylish design but when you compare the features and their specifications,you'll see ! NOKIA IS THE BEST AMONG THE REST !
