SidewindeR, 23 Jul 2010Well priya, if you're a heavy texter, neither will last 2 d... morehey.. can you suggest me which one is better amongst samsung corby and nokia 5233. i want it to be good looking (and i find corby better in that) , a good to hold phone, comfortable in texting, good battery, voice quality.i do texting more as compared to calls. i read somewhere that corby hangs while charging so if you can clear that doubt as well. most of my phone usage is in listening songs or texting. thanx :)

Bought Nokia 5233 two weeks ago. Its really fantastic phone. It works fine with me. Got 2gb card with it. But it have one problem, which is its handsfree have negiolable volume. So you must bring new handsfree with it. Its battery time is soo0 good. There is no problem with this phone. Its sound is slow, but not bad. Bought it of 12200 pkr, from hafeez centre, lahore,pakistan, with MZ warranty. I must say that you should also buy this phone.

Anonymous, 24 Jul 2010how do i change bak my mod firmware v21 to the original one... moreYep.. copy those three files to the newly created directory whre the original files are already copied and replace the original files with these three modded ones... The rest of the files are the same for all the versions. I'd recommend V22 with 7 HS mod... i think it is more stable out of the three.
You can download the V12 FW using the navifirm FW download utility. The original V21 FW download link is provided in the website.
V22 is nothing but a modded versin of the V21 FW.

Yday got my new 5233 black model...its jst superb...touch is gud...i m loving it ...but some applications are not working..opera mini 5 working gr88..but need a pdf file reader and quick office..can any one plz suggest me a site were i can get free downloads..and some mp4 videos are not working...can any one suggest a gud site frm were i can download a gud converter..plz...

im using a 5200 phone since it was released the only thing hindering me from buying a new phone is that though later phones have better features i still love the size and audio capability of the 5200. im planning to buy a 5233 or a 5230 phone just for kicks... which one is better its only a 600peso price difference but 3g in the philippines is not that reliable and i dont really care about the GPS. What comes with the 5233 and the 5230? i saw a shop selling a 5233 with the ovi green sticker covering the lens, its made in china is this an original?

I cant use this phone outdoor. Display is totally useless in sunlight or in outdoors. Is this phone is for Bats or for who leave in darkness like ghosts or insane people? Nokia please improve your display for outdoor use. Display is very important for touch phones because there are no buttons. I cant even read or write message when i am outdoor or see who is calling. This are basics things for which mobile are used. Even full brightness does not work but it will damage our eyes indoors and eats battery very fast. I have seen samsung touch phones display ,they are useable in sunlight in some angles and way better than nokia.please nokia do something .... Most of time i will be outside ...i am planning to change my mobile with 6303i which has very good display but i will miss multitasking , good browser and big display of 5233. But 6303i basically acts as phone which is very important.....

Everything you need and all the instructions are given very clearly with pics to make sure you don't goof up. Download all the necessary files first and just follow the give instructions. You'll have you phone modded in no time with the latest V21 modded FW.
Yes this is a h a c k e d firmware so you can enjoy a lot of benefits.
The original fw consists of 8 seperate files which can be downloaded from the site. The modded fw consists of three of the files out of the eight original which can be downloaded seperately. All we do is replace the three original files with the modded ones and use a flashing tool to flash the new fw to the phone. The original files come in very handy as it can be used later to revert back to the default factory fw.

But with moderate usage, this can get you through two days... For touch screen smartphones, it is a necessity to charge it daily though it might give you 2 days of usage.
