Hi i hav plan to buy ths mobile.so i wuld like to compare nokia 5233 and lg gs290.which is best in the indistry.i am looking good display clarity,good sound clarity and i want to get atleast 2 days battery backup in heavy text nd normall call usage.so pls advice me which one is best.i am waiting 4u ppls.thanks in advance.

I got one delivered to my office this afternoon and when I saw the real unit, I fell in love to it more. I have this phone (touchscreen) and I also have Nokia E71 (QWERTY). A brand switcher, from SE to Nokia. Ü

rony, 23 Jul 2010just update my phone, phone become so much fast, it is very... moreRony mate.. then you should try the modded version of V21 firmware. It is atleast twice as fast as the V21 and has a lot of col features...

just update my phone, phone become so much fast, it is very much visible to me. opening message become much faster then before. also menu scrolling changes which i love so much. rather than everything remain same. i gighly recommend to update to 21

First of all i want 2 say is this phn iz da best phn i.ever had besides iphn......i mean iphn has great appz but 5233 has sum great apps too...social networking facebook app is preety gud n opera mini 5.1also opera mini 10 symbian app is great....lotz of cool gamz,nice pre installed voice dictionary,great free apps can b downloaded frm ovi store....the2mp camera is preety gud..lack of wi-fi n 3g is a bit frustrating but datz wat makz it cheap nd itz touch interface is better than 5800..music quality is superb but the headphn which cums wid it suckzzz...Again im writing this review through it.....the realplayer app is preety gud......great custom homescreen...lots of widgets..great 4 viewing e-mails...if any1 thinking about buying this i wud say dat u shud go 4 it....the phn worth 4 itz price...im enjoying diz phn.... :)

Nvn, 22 Jul 2010I purchas 5233. After 3 hr it becom waste. Its ph memry was end.Dude... to begin with 5233 is smartphone so you need to have a basic knowledge of what you can safely do and how to best manage the phone resources. It' just like maintaining a PC in good working condition. Do not install any kind of softwares in the phone memory. And also kill all unused apps to save memory and battery.

make sure you do a backup of you data either on the phone or using OVI suite.
For hard reset, switch off phone press green key, red key and camera key at the same time and switch on the phone. Do not release till the nokia logo is displayed..
