[deleted post]5230 costs around 7400 INR and while 5235 costs around 8500 INR. If you are ready to spend more then without a second thought, go for 5235. It has high end WH701 headset in sales package which standalone cost around 800 Rs. Also 5235 has metallic frame body, free comes with music service subscription for a year, overall better build quality, noticeably finer display and some minor improvements in aspects like GPS.

Pankazz, 19 May 2010Hey hey hey... Don't blame nokia about internal memory. Act... moreI am not regretting and blaming Nokia at all! I don't care about internal memory unless phone has good external memory support and 5235 has it of course. Everything else is fine and yes, phone is definitely faster than 5230 plus there are no auto restart issues and hanging problems at all. In fact my 5235 has never auto restarted till date while my bros 5230 does restart automatically every day or so. When I googled about this issue, I found lot of 5230 users reporting same. 5800 users are facing another issue of random colored lines on display. There is no such thing about 5235. I think Nokia has learned a lot through 5230/5800's feedback and 5235 is wholly a improved version of previous touch flagships eliminating such bugs. Hardware built quality is another USP of this phone.

Actually the phone has 320 mb memory but its shared. That means u can use only 80mb part of it. Other is used to give ur phone speed and boost its ram. User memory is same as u get. So be happy in what u got. U might notice that the speed of phone is more than those of 5800/5230/5233/5530. Hope u find it helpful. Thanks

astro, 19 May 2010Since nokia has changed the phone memory of 5235 what about... moreNokia never mention internal memory on boxes or in phone manuals. However my phone shows internal memory of 82.1 MB and even I connect it to laptop, it does show same. Other 5235 users from India have also reported that internal memory is 82.1 MB. Now it will be interesting to see if its the same in case for 5235's shipping to countries other than India.

So is Nokia India selling striped down 5235 (in terms of internal memory) in India to compete intense competition sustaining possibly lower prices?

                                        Abbreviations
The acronym SD stands for Secure Digital while SDHC stands for Secure Digital High Capacity. Many companies, such as Kodak, Sandisk and PNY, make SD and SDHC cards. The manufacturers formed the SD Card Association and oversee and create standards for the format.
                                        Capacities
SD Cards have a storage capacity of 512MB to 4GB. SDHC cards have higher storage capacities, running from 4GB to 32GB.
                                        Write Speeds
Because of the larger storage capacities, the SDHC card writes at speeds from 2MB to 6MB per second, as mandated by manufacturers. The SD card writes and speeds less than 2MB per second.
                                        Uses
SDHC cards are excellent for digital cameras that take high quality photos because they tend take up more storage and can write the large file quicker. SD cards, because of the slower write speeds are used better in lower-end cameras and MP3 players.
                                        Storage Type
SD cards used a Fat 12/16 storage system. For the SDHC cards, this was changed to a Fat 32 system because of the large storage capacities.
