hey anuj i did it finally........
bt wen i type *#0000# on the cell it shows the version as 5235
does that mean i've successfully done it or is there still sumthing wrong
nw nss also tells the product code of my cell as the new one i've

In v21 of 5230, photos are bit over saturated and sharpened and pinkish tint is there in low light shots. But video camera is better. Auto brightness adjustment is improved. Music quality is almost same but EQ settings make big difference now. Headset music control bug is rectified. Overall, update is worth.

Quality is dropping day by day, service support is just ok ok where it was used to be excellent few years ago. New models are delayed in India eg. C6. They treat Indians like down class.

If you change product code of 5235 to 5530, NSU will not detect update for you. And if you try to do it by other means (using JAF or Phoenix), you may end up with bricked (dead) phone.

Good to know that people have started to crack there 5235....what a shame Nokia...Nokia, you have launched one of the best product and ignored it..leaving all the trouble for your customers to hack the software and make there life easier...

it didnt work
i followed every step bt it didnt work

nothing happens
the computer pauses for a while nd thn nthing happens............
cn u plz. tell me any othr software or way to do it plz?????????

it is for nokia 5800 but don't mind the method is all same.. the only different thing will be the product code.. which anuj has already posted in his previous posts

i downloaded it nd installed bt nt wo... moreto make NSS work try uninstalling every nokia related software mainly nokia pc suite ... and nokia software updater..nokia connectivity cable driver
Then install them in the following order....
1.NOKIA PC SUITE
2.NOKIA SOFTWARE UPDATER
3.NEMESIS SERVICE SUITE
a) Then restart ur computer...
B) after restart close nokia pc suite and nokia software updater processes.. even from the task bar..
c) connect ur phone in pc suite mode and wait for some time for windows to install the drivers..
d) wait for a notification saying driver installation successful...
e) open nemesis service suite it should work...
f) click on the big magnifying glass on the top left corner of NSS.. if NSS displays ur phone info.. then it is working
i will post the way to change the product code in my next post...

i've xp
nd now when i run it
nothing happens
how do i use this software??
nd if i wanna update thru nokia care
will they upgrade by doing the same or will they deny
any upgrade to me??

I hope you have downloaded latest version and following correct procedure. It should work fine then. Be sure you have Windows XP. It may not work properly on Windows 7.
