@RAKESH
It depends,
use it as a phone only & it will last for 2.5-3.5 days on normal call usage.
Use like a music player with phone & it will last for 1.5-2.5 days.
Play game or watch video - may end up in less than 24 hrs with higher usage & 1.5 days with moderate usage.
hope it clarify.

@engel
Are you running any antivirus software or a software which scans every action.
@Tsepz
May I know from where do you get this information abt N96.
N96 should be faster than this phone because it will surely be running on high speed dual processor like N95. even if it has same speed as 5700, it will perform better because of dual processor. though 450mhz is not mentioned any where not on nokia sites neither on gsmarena.

To the last three posts:
The battery backup that this model uses is the BP-5M lithium polymer battery. It has good durability and is used too in nokia 6290 and 6110 Navigator. The only thing I don´t know is if the BP-6M battery (used in N73, 3250, N82...) can be used in this phone?? Has anyone tried it???
About the headset yes, you´re right, it´s made by philips and has good quality. But you can always change it for your favorite headphones because the headset has a 3.5 mm jack. It´s a whole different compared with the hs-47 headset used in nokia 6300 and 5300 because it has play/pause, rewind and fast forward buttons and the 3.5mm jack. It looks like the headset found on Nokia N95.

@Tsepz:
Wow this is a great performance for a mobile processor. I didn´t know that Nokia was going to release such processor but I hope that to be true because the N96 will be a fully loaded gadget.

This phone is fully loaded my only concerns are the speaker volume is so low you have to strain your ears most times, it also drags words while you are having a long conversation, i usually have to swith off the phone and redial the number to continue, also the phone switches off and on its self. is anyone else experiencing this??

@Dilmeet
This is not the best for bass effect. Atleast I found so.
try this
equalizer - points from top
1 3
2 3
3 mid
4 3
5 2
