Hi!
I just did a soft reset on my phone and it did something strange: after it powered on again the screen just kept blinking, so much that I couldn't do anything on the device. I was running the latest version of software on in.
Any thoughts? Thx!

Nokia 5800......is available for symbian cfw v6.2 anna, upgrade with flash.

For me as adventurer, this phone is the best 'til now, especially the Drive navigation application in the GPS, there are so many new mobile phone release in the market even iphone4 did not have a drive navigation application like Nokia have... all new mobile phone having only a location where you are now... or they have navigation application but did not support most of the country... hi..hi..hi... that's why I can't this my 5800 XpressMusic phone... and Nokia always have an update...

other option for homescreen are the NDesk or just youtube/ google "Orange Tornado HS"

Its a nice phone. I love it because it's easily hackable. Cheap one, get vHome or SPBShell for it if you don't like the homescreen or menu.

neri, 25 Sep 2011I've been using Nokia 5800 for 2 years the phone for the fi... moremaybe bug or u lcd already wan corrupted.keep using it until 100% corrupted.u can sell it after repair or keep using it

I've been using Nokia 5800 for 2 years the phone for the first year was very nice but now the screen has a bug..i have experiment many ways what exactly happen to it..if cold the screen have many lines but when the phone is heated the screen back to normal ..! i think its time for me to buy new phone ;)
