Hi ther,, while upgrading the firmware.., it is recommended that you have a complete back up especially the contacts , calendar and notes.. you can perform the operation without the memory card so u dont hve to backup ur memory card.. While upgrading the firmware, the contacts and notes ARE DELETED..

i would recommend updating phone software by using the data cable and nokia PC suite .. i've updated many times and there seems to be no problem while doing it on pc rather than using wi-fi or gprs..

hey guys, i just need help. i just got my new 5800 phone and i like to download themes for my cp. i'm downloading it in my pc not over the air. but when i tried to transfer it to my cp using usb connection, and tried it it's not there. can anyone pls help me out. tnx guys!

Guys, this phone's da bomb. I just got nokia BH 604 Bluetooth Stereo Headset. The sounds from the phone thru this headset is really mind blowing. Its pure music from another dimension. Its the ultimate.

it is free... moreThanks for the advice noidea but the nearest nokia care centre to me is about 400 kilometers away. Thats the problem when you work in rural a setup rather than in urban centres.

seems to me that this is a great phone.
the bad part. ugliest icons ever, less intuitive than iphone, slow photo processing.

Wow this is one amazing phone
I dont get bored anymore
Since i last used my N81 my battery didnt last that long
then along came my N95 8GB
Very nice camera and well battery life is good
Lasts a day for me since I love music and stuff
But then the hard part is I had a hard time using the phone and where to put it on my purse or pocket coz the Earphone Jack is on the sides
And yes it is a bit Bulky for a girl like me....
Oh well Now the Nokia 5800 Express music
Really, I have never been a Fan of the Iphone
This is my First Touch phone
and all I can say
I LOVE IT!!!
Since the day i used the 5700 XM I loved it!!
and now Im with the 5800 XM and still loving it
The touch screen is OKay
Music sounds a bit Okay but when you plug in your Fave Headphones..its AWESOME!!!
Wonderfully made
Made from plastic....the good part is
Its easier to replace...
coz Metallic phones when they get the Scratches its really hard to find a replacement for them..
Now I have updated my phone to the new Firmware 21
and so i think yet its very promising
Maybe Nokia guys will update it soon
and Fix the Camera some few touches I suppose
but its clear that its great for viewing movies...
listening to music
but with pictures
It takes not the nicest pictures....
5700 even takes better pictures
I just dont get it
But yeah...
It fits my palms comfortably...
and when i need to take pictures
Id use my canon digital camera....
thats all i can say with my experience
I grae it 8/10
at the price range this phone cost me
I am very happy with it.....
