this afternoon my 5800's screen suddenly turns white and freeze, the on/off button won't work, so i had to pull the battery off.
after the time and date setting, it freeze again in the homescreen. and the on/off button won't work again, so i pull the battery again.
this time, it works normally..
fiuuh..
my question is, anybody ever experienced the similar thing?
what is it? crash? bug? hardware problem? software?
btw my firmware is 20.

Dear friends
this phone is superb,but....ohh we came to the "but" word...but it drives me crazy....
first of all and if any one can find me a soluation, when i clear my timers it asks for the lock code i put 1234 but when i would like to change this lock code with another one it always give "code error" how???????? i don't know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had this phone for about a week.i've had Samsung E900 prev & hated the few touch sensitive buttons, but i've had no problems using the 5800. I'm not too bothered about the technical stuff, all i know is that its a great phone. its touch sensitivity works well, the accessories included in the box are a welcome bonus and have no problems texting at all (i can't find any smileys though!!!) Its a great phone i'd recommend it

Is the music quality comparable to the N91? I just lost my iPod touch 8GB.. someone flicked it from my place. So i wanna pick up somethin where i can listen to music with good quality output kinda like the iPod touch's or N91's.. Is this phone good?? Is the music Loud and clear??

this is one of the worst phones from nokia,
battery is only one day,
camera is nothing,
this is just for touch screen and music

Guys, I have installed loads applications and would like to share some "must haves" ones with you:
Opera Mini: Obviously a must have for all phones.
Google maps: You will simply love it on this wide screen.
Marble Maze: Superb accellerometer controls, you will get hooked on to this game
Photo browser: Much faster and better graphics than the Gallery.
Symtorrent: haven't tried it yet.
Handwriting calculator: Cool.
Paint pad: Better than "Mobile paint" software.
X-plore: No need to xplain.
Facewarp: Edits closeup photos to make them look funny.
Joikuspot: converts your 5800 into a wifi hotspot.
Gmail client: showing an error.
Youtube client: working fine.
Why dont others post some more applications instead of replying to those irritating iphone, htc etc. fanboys??

i would definitely recommend you 5800. I m not sure but i think the g900 is nearly the same price.

tried to put a mini usb into my 5800 and noticed its different is this correct(phone was exchang no box)

hi everyone one .. i have old software this v11.0.008 in my 5800 xpressmusic.. i want to update so my question is Nokia 5800 firmware v20.0.0.12 is good or bad please tell me i am waiting....................

I'm a bit confused,...
1.does the phone lags?
2.Does it have a responsive touchscreen?
3.Does the accelerometer works well?

awesome fone,though had some problem with the inbuilt headset...in the first batch...can be dealt with just a fone call to the customer care.otherwise good battery backup,n interface is something to get nutty on! despite this, theres a scope to make it better. m sure nokia is on to that!!!

Samsung has put a touchwiz UI for omnia hd, witch is using the same os as in 5800, I wanted to if we can do that with the 5800 too???

I jsut hate that bug whenever u are listening to the music on your headphone....suddenly u got an sms message (the speaker suddenly blast the music out loud, even with silent mode).
Nokia correct that bug please....
